Fashion and audiovisual come together in the 1st MOARÉ 2026 Fashion Film Competition, an initiative aimed at fostering creativity, emerging talent, and new forms of visual expression linked to the world of fashion.

The competition invites creators, students, professionals, and audiovisual enthusiasts to submit short audiovisual pieces that explore fashion from an artistic, innovative, and contemporary perspective. Participating fashion films may address concepts related to design, identity, sustainability, trends, textile heritage, or any other theme connected to the universe of fashion.

The selected works will be part of the MOARÉ 2026 Fashion Film Competition, which will take place in Terrassa during the festival on October 17, 2026, offering participants a platform for visibility and exposure to audiences, industry professionals, and creative sector agents. On this day, an awards ceremony will be held at Vapor de Prodis, one of the venues of the MOARÉ Festival.

With this competition, MOARÉ reinforces its commitment to connecting fashion, visual culture, and innovation, turning Terrassa into a meeting point for new talent and creative projects.

現金賞: 1,000€

A single prize is established for the winning piece:

- 1.000 €

- Residency at the Film Lab of the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya, a virtual production space where support will be provided for the production of a project with a maximum duration of one week, under conditions to be agreed with the organization.

The jury may grant special mentions without financial endowment. Particular consideration will be given to works that feature the city of Terrassa and/or its industrial heritage.

1. Participants
The competition is open to individuals over 18 years of age, with no nationality restrictions. Participation may be individual or collective.

2. Registration and documentation
Entries must be submitted exclusively through a form available on the website moare.terrassa.cat or on festhome.com, within the deadlines established by the organization.

3. Characteristics of the works
Submitted works must correspond to the Fashion Film format.
A Fashion Film is understood to be an audiovisual piece in which fashion, clothing, textiles, style, visual identity, or aesthetic expression related to garments constitute the central axis of the creative or narrative proposal. The pieces may adopt experimental, conceptual, artistic, or narrative formats, as long as fashion plays a leading and essential role in the work.
Works that primarily correspond to other audiovisual formats will not be accepted, such as:
- Fiction or documentary short films where fashion is not the central element of the narrative
- Music videos
- Advertising spots or promotional content for products or services unrelated to the fashion, textile, or accessories sectors
- Any other format that, according to the organization’s criteria, does not fit the definition of Fashion Film established in these rules
Projects must not have been produced before 2023.
The minimum duration is 60 seconds and the maximum is 7 minutes, including end credits.
Works containing dialogue must include subtitles in Catalan, Spanish, or English.
Participants must guarantee that they hold all exhibition rights, intellectual property rights, image rights, music rights, and any other rights necessary for the work’s participation in the festival.
The organization reserves the right not to accept any works that do not meet the established requirements or that do not conform to the definition of Fashion Film described in these rules.
