ANIMACINE - Agreste Animation Festival is part of an artistic and play concept popularized by the name ANIMACINE, which through the audio-visual spectrum popularizes the exhibition, the dialogue and the production of cartoons, mainly in the north / northeast of the country. All forms and content of animation will be well accepted, preserving the formation and learning, being also a stimulus to the Brazilian cinematographic culture, facing as space for the formation of new spectators and directors.

The purpose of ANIMACINE is to disclose the audiovisual production of character animation
Cultural and aims to contribute to the development of a universal language, without losing the regional spirit of the place that surrounds it. It also seeks to encourage the formation of audiences and the emergence of new filmmakers.

The selected films can be awarded in the following categories:

Best national short film, best national short film, best short film best
Short choice of audience, best script, better sound design, better direction
Of art, best children's short film, best animation technique, best approach
Psychological.

1. Entries are free and will be open in the period from August 10 to 10
From October 2017 until 23:59 GMT.

2. The festival is open to national and international productions for animated films of any technique, finalized after 2015. Brazilian and foreigners, resident or non-resident in the country, can participate for up to 30 minutes.

3. The still sending of the film and images will only be given after confirmation, by e-mail, of the receipt of the registration made on the site.

4. The theme of the festival is free and there will be no limit of films subscribed by participants, however for each film an individual registration form must be completed.

5. Under no circumstances shall fees or exhibition rights be paid to films
Selected or invited to the festival.

6. The selected ones should send the film in video file, preferably the standard - H264, 1920x1080px or 1280x720px for download, to the email festivalanimacine@gmail.com

7. The official language of the festival is Brazilian Portuguese. The festival does not perform the Portuguese subtitles of foreign language films. Therefore, films that present dialogues in another language must be subtitled in Portuguese.

8. The festival reserves the right to disqualify selected films that do not
Present subtitles or dubbing in the festival's official language.

9. Participants who have more than one film selected for ANIMACINE

10. The award will be defined by an official jury, composed of 03 (three)
Members invited by the organization of the festival, among critics and professionals
Cinema, which are not directly related to the works presented in the
competition.
