MYTH Cultural society is the organizer of the Kochi International Short Film Festival of India.
MYTH is an organization which homes a group of young and vibrant film enthusiasts who are committed in creating parallel spaces for independent cinema and devoted to spreading of the knowledge of the modern visual art form to all interested.

Rules and Regulations
• All entries must be postmarked by 1 December 2014.
• Awards will be given to the following categories:
o General Section – Best Film, Best Director, Best Script, Best Camera, Best Editing, Best Actor/Actress
o Student’s Section – Best Film
o Regional Focus–Konkani – Best Film
• Short Films of any theme, subject can be sent, but no documentary short films will be accepted.
• All entries must be in English or contain a subtitle in English.
• Do not submit incomplete short films
• Please submit a clearly printed and completely filled entry form along with your submissions.
• Candidate’s name, Producer’s title, Film’s title and Running time should be marked on each case
• Short Films should be at least 2 minutes longer to be eligible. Maximum 30 Minuts.
• Animation shorts will not have a special section as they will be judged as and with narrative films.
• Due to limited venue, time and space, not all entries will be screened to public. A final list of films
will be selected for screening in the ‘Competition Films’ section.
• Competition Section: Competition section is divided into three categories. They are as follows:
o General Section: Entry Fee – 1000 Rs. (Indian Subcontinent) & 35 $ (Films from abroad)
o Students Section: Entry Fee – 500 Rs. (Indian Subcontinent) & 25 $ (Films from abroad)
o Regional Focus-Konkani Section: Entry Fee – 500 Rs. (Indian Subcontinent) & 25 $ (Films from abroad)
• For any category, for a comeptition to take place, at the very least, 10 entries should be received. If
that minimum no. of entries is not met, the films will be shown under a different category decided
by the selection committee.
• For competing in the Student’s Little category, the candidate must produce a genuine student’s
identity card. Failure to producing such an identity card results in rejection.
• Awards will consist of a certificate, cash award and a KISFFI memento
o DD/ Cheque should be drawn to the address MYTH FILM CULTURAL SOCIETY, payable at
ERNAKULAM.
• Candidates should submit along with the application form the following:
i) 4 DVDs of the film. ii) 2 passport sized photographs. iii) at least 2 promotional photographs/stills,
screenshots, dvd covers, film poster iv) a brief synopsis. via post & email
• Post your entries to ‘The District Information Office, Park Avenue, Ernakulam – 682011, Kerala, India’
and electronic materials to kisffiofficial@gmail.com
• KISFFI will have the authority to use the submitted short films and posters for promotional activities
for a period of one year.
