LIBRARY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - LIFF

The purpose of this film festival is to promote new movie makers, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas & culture between India & other nations in context of their social and cultural ethos. JIFF also promotes friendship and co-operation among people of the world through the medium of films & documentaries.

Though the film festivals have became a regular affair in most countries yet most of them cater only to selected audience as well as entertain the commercially successful film makers and related personalities. However, LIFF intends to organize a festival that connects the film fans & movie goers with the world, especially the serious filmmakers & their associates so as to bring about greater understanding of the art of film making.

In October every year the Jaipur International Film Festival, Jaipur International Film Festival Trust and Film Library (we are bringing World's Largest & Secure Film Library soon) by Jaipur International Film Festival and Trust will organize Library International Film Festival in Jaipur at Golcha Cinema based on the top films/entries of the year in each category like Feature Fiction, Documentary Feature, Animation Feature, Short Fiction, Short Documentary, Short Animation, Ad Film, Song and Poster. Audience will choose the top ten films/posters/songs (not screenplays) by voting, out of all screened films/songs & selected posters in this festival. The top film will be awarded with the cash prize of INR 1.oo lac and certificate and memento. The other top nine films will be awarded certificates and mementos.

SUBMISSION & SELECTION PROCESS

Film Maker/s, Director/s or Producer/s from all over the world can send or submit their film/s. A selection/rating committee consisting of members from film fraternity and film scholars would select the films.

SPECIAL BENEFITS & GUIDELINES

All films will be part of rating system by selection committee members.

Jury will judge the film for awards.

Top rated films will be announced every month or before notification date September 15, 2017.

Audience Choice Awards.

Top rated films/entries will be screened in Library Film Festival. (released/produced after 1st January 2016).

Library fee also include lifetime Library submission fee, so do not pay again for Library submission.

So you can submit your film in Library or Library Film Festival, it will be part of both automatically.

Library Int. Film Festival - Eligibility Regulations (Films)

1. All films / documentaries shot on film or Video or Mobile (Analog / Digital format).

2. Entries of all films / documentaries (hereafter collectively called Films) shall be accepted only in DVD/BLURAY format and other one format for safety purpose (if you do not have any other format, do not worry – do not send) please send online screener (direct play link or with link and password) for rating/preview propose, if Library office received your film by post with delay, there will be no effect on rating because Library committee will/can see the film through online screener)

3. Top rating films/entries will screen in Library film festival. (After released/produced 1st January 2016) but before released/produced 1st January 2016 films will be part of rating system and Library)

3. If language of the film is other than English, do not worry Library accept in all languages, so submit in your language. We want preserve your film.

4. Films may be entered by any organization, agency, Government, Government departments, individual producer or director.

5. Rating of films / videos Library will be done by a committee whose decision will be final. However, Library Authorities reserve the rights.

6. Library will announce every month top films/songs/posters/ad films/screenplays out of total submissions by rating all films/entries (one to last submission figure) on website. List will be declared in next three months but we will inform to all submitters by mail. In the end of year we will be declaring the yearly top list with rating and top twenty films of the year in each category.

7. Transportation and insurance costs of DVDs/BLURAYs etc., related documents from the country of origin to the Library Office shall be borne by the applicant.

8. Library would be allowed to use all photographs and publicity materials received along with the Entry and the same will not be returned to the entrants.

9. Censorship will not be applicable to any films / videos entered in the Library.

10. The Library Authorities will have the right to screen in different cities of India and the world on non-commercial basis.

11. For promotional / publicity purposes, excerpts from any film entered in the Library to Library Film festival may be shown on any Television network / Internet or related media during the festival period.

12. Entry Forms with incorrect / inadequate / illegible / ambiguous particulars will not be considered.

13. DVDs submitted for selection will be considered as final and no changes will be entertained after submission. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to submit DVDs with other one format without any physical / quality defects.

14. Prize and certificate (in Library film festival and monthly top rating entries) will be awarded to the director (s) or producer(s) of the film. For any duties, fees and charges accrued from the transporting of the certificate/trophy, will be covered by the recipient, not the Festival organizers.

15. All monthly top rating entries will receive a certificate. (Cost of certificate production and courier charges will cover the submitter or Director or producer)

16. Anybody can submit one or more than one entry. There is no limit for submission.

17. *For online film library – visit the website.

18. In the case of co-productions, at least one of the producers/production companies must have the right to sanction the participation of the film in in the Library Film Festival Award/s and authority to receive award, if any, is won.

19. All films should be without any watermark and advertisement.

20. Films once submitted will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances.

21. Submission in the Library implies acceptance of these Regulations.

22. Decisions of the Library Authorities regarding all matters not expressly provided for in these regulations or which require interpretation of the clauses mentioned above shall be final and binding on all parties.

RULES & REGULATIONS
For Screenplays at LIFF 2017

Your entry/film will be part of rating system.

International Committee members will judge the film/entry.

Top rated films/entries will be screened/exhibit in Library Film Festival.
(written/designed/released/produced after 1st January 2016).

One Person/Company can submit one or more entries. No limitations.

The all entries should be your fundamental composition (मौलिक रचना). Your entry to any misinformation automatically will be cancelled.
