Submissions for Malaysia International Film Festival 2014 is now open!

The festival will be held in Los Angeles, 22 - 23 November.

We look forward to seeing films from all over the world!

Durian Seed Award: Honorable mentions for films with notable potentials

1) For a greener planet, Malaysia International Film Festival only accepts online submissions.

2) Upon submission of a project, the user certifies that all materials submitted to Malaysia International Film Festival is his or her own work, and that all other information provided, is true and factual.

3) If film is selected for participation, the organisers are allowed to extract material from any parts of the film for publicity purposes (i.e images for posters and scene clips, if required).

4) Malaysia International Film Festival holds no responsibilities and liabilities to continue the actual festival in the event of unforeseen interruptions.

5) Malaysia International Film Festival will take reasonable care to protect all information received, but in the event of information theft, the organisation is void of responsibilities, related profits, expenses and liabilities arising from the incident.

6) Malaysia International Film Festival will take reasonable care to protect all materials received. However, Malaysia International Film Festival receives many ideas, scripts and projects for consideration and it is possible that some of the ideas, scripts and projects already under consideration or submitted after the date of this application may be similar or identical to some or all of the project submissions; the applicant will not hold Malaysia International Film Festival liable in any way for the use of ideas of a general or generic nature contained in the submission (including, without limitation, any idea, theme, situation, geographic area and/or period in history).

7) Malaysia International Film Festival reserves the right to organise the presentation of materials in any order.

8) Please keep the festival informed of any address, phone or email changes.

9) All entrants will be notified on or before 17 October 2014.
