May Sumak: Quichwa Film Showcase is a traveling film festival featuring three days of Quechua/Kichwa film screenings and discussions throughout New York City. The showcase is a celebration of Indigenous and community filmmaking in the Quechua languages spoken throughout diaspora, from the Andes to the United States.

This year we invite audiovisual producers from all over the world to submit works to be considered by the May Sumak Organizing Committee and incorporated into this year's festival lineup now in its 4th year.

Works accepted on a rolling basis until March 29th 11:59 pm

May Sumak will take place this year in New York City from May 17th thru the 19th, 2019
