AWARD TO THE BEST PART OF AUDIOVISUAL CREATION GIVEN WITH 500 EUROS
The economic amounts are subject to the retentions determined by the current Law and will be deducted at the time of delivery of the prizes.

In the case of the prizes of the public will be by popular vote of the attending public to the projections of the festival. In due course, the festival organization will announce the method chosen for the voting of this award.

 OBLIGATION OF THE SELECTED.-

The direction of the Festival and its Advisory Committee will establish the order and date of exhibition of each selected film in the Festival's projection week. The authors will be informed sufficiently in advance to assess their presence in the contest.

Likewise, once the festival is over, the winning works and those titles that the organization deems appropriate will become part of the FIT FESTIVAL CIRCUIT, a circuit composed of localities from other provinces where the festival maintains collaborative links, where special public sessions will be held with these works. The celebration of this circuit will take place in a period of time to be determined always in the nine months following the conclusion of the edition of FIT CINE 2017.
The winning works are obliged to participate in it. The non-awarded titles that are selected will establish a participation agreement in this circuit.

GENERAL RULES FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE AUDIOVISUAL MATERIAL COMPETITION

All those works whose subject matter is created or related to Trail Running and Running in different spaces may participate in the PirineosFIT Film competition.

Only productions made on or after 1 January 2014 will be eligible to compete in this edition.
Each participant may compete with more than one work, being an essential requirement to submit an registration for each work.

The following CATEGORY is specified.
SPOTS MATERIAL (intended for fiction, documentary or promotional content linked to the Trail Running events).

The Selection Committee will carry out the selection and programming of the selected contesting films. Festival management reserves the right to amend the programming schedule.

The participant warrants that he/she owns the intellectual property rights on the registered work. The participants must likewise warrant that there is no legal, contractual or any kind of limitation whatsoever which could prevent the organisation of the festival from screening the work in public. In the same vein, shall claim to have the pertinent authorisations of persons or bodies the owners of the rights as regards the different elements which are included in the submitted work, such as music, images, graphics etc … The registered participant hereby undertake to hold the event organisation harmless from possible claims as regards copyright which may be initiated by third parties.

Participation in the Festival entails the acceptance in their entirety of the present regulations. As regards any matter whatsoever that is not subject to the regulations, the Festival’s management committee will be ultimately responsible for settling these matters.

REGISTRATION
To participate in the PirineosFIT FILM, the person responsible or the producer must be able to register the work via the Festhome.com

The minimum expenses derived from this registration will be borne by the organisation which registers the film. Copies in physical format will not be accepted for the selection process in the different competitions.

THE PARTICIPATION AND WORKS REGISTRATION DEADLINE WILL COMMENCE ON 6 FEBRUARY AND WILL END ON 31 MAY 2017.
Once the Festival has confirmed and notified in writing the OFFICIAL SELECTION of the film or short film, it shall proceed as follows:

1.- Shall urgently forward press and publicity material of each film in the event of possessing same: press books, posters and trailers in QUICKTIME FORMAT. [For other formats, please make enquiries to the festival].

2.- The remittance of the exhibition copy will be undertaken by the sender in conjunction with the coordination staff of copies authorised by the Festival which will furnish the system and format of professional exhibition used in the sessions.

3.- The film remittance expenses shall be borne by the Festival only for one of the remittance routes [back and forth].

4.- The Festival shall be return the copies upon finalisation of the festival, and the expenses of this remittance shall be borne by the recipient or that of the Festival, pursuant to that specified in Clause 3. The senders must have clearly specified in the registration form the address and date of return.

JURY
As regards the Competition, the Organising Committee will appoint a jury composed of three internationally renowned personalities and from the cultural and sports field of recognised prestige in the audiovisual field who will decide on the award of the prizes and which will be published on the Festival’s website, notwithstanding its immediate notification to all participants.

The prizes awarded by the jury for the winning creations in the 2017 PirineosFIT FILM shall be as follows:

The Festival’s management and Advisory Committee will establish the order and screening dates of each selected film during the Festival’s screening week. The authors will be notified with sufficient notice in advance in order to assess their presence in the competition.

Likewise, once the festival is over, the winning works and those titles which the organisation deems appropriate will become part of the PirineosFIT FILM CIRCUIT TOUR, a circuit composed of municipalities from other provinces where the festival maintains partnerships, where there will be special public sessions with these works. The holding of this circuit will be carried out in a period of time to be determined always in the nine months following the finalisation of the 2017 PirineosFIT FILM edition.

The winning works are under the obligation to participate in it. The non winning titles which are selected will establish a participation agreement in this circuit.
