SREM FILM FEST is a constant cultural manifestation, whose founder and director is Igor Čolak and executive BUBAMARA PRODUCTION and SREM FILM. It is both domestic and international competitive film festival of artistic achievements in the field of documentary film made by film or video techniques.

The festival takes place in Srem, once a year.

Official awards are:

-Grand prix of the Festival
-Best film in the category of ecological films
-Best film in the category of tourist films
-Golden Bubamara ecology Silver Bubamara ecology Bronze Bubamara ecology
-Golden Bubamara tourist Silver Bubamara tourist Bronze Bubamara tourist

If for their quality some films stand out, the jury may award one special diploma for each category. Jury awards a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 9 films. Special prizes may be awarded by the festival, professional organizations, non government organizations, media...etc

RULES OF FESTIVAL

ARTICLE 1 / GENERAL TERMS

SREM FILM FEST is a constant permanent cultural event, whose founder and director is Igor Colak, organizer and executive producer organized by "BUBAMARA PRODUCTION” . It is both domestic and an international competitive film festival of artistic achievements in the field of documentary film made by film or video techniques. The festival takes place in Srem, once a year.

ARTICLE 2 / PROGRAM
Festival consists of two main program components: Competitive part of program, and supporting, non-competitive, film and other contents. The Competition Programme films must be documentaries, short or medium-length maximum duration to 30 minutes and cannot be older than five years

Competitive program has two categories;

1.Tourism (films that promote tourism potential of countries they come from)

2.Ecology (films that promote natural heritage of origin countries in order to encourage the development of environmental awareness)

All legal entities registered for the production of films and film authors can apply to the festival. Movies that were made in the languages of the territory of former Yugoslavia have to have subtitles in English language. Other movies must have English subtitle and dialogue Lists at English language.

Festival includes programs that do not have competitive nature, such as retrospectives, interviews with authors, exhibitions and workshops. Festival reserves the right on final decisions of the program in which the film will be shown.

ARTICLE 3 / TERMS OF APPLY
Films must be in MP4 or MPG2 formats. Films submitted can not be withdrawn from the festival program.

Submissions are not charged. Director, producer and distributor of award-winning films are bound to mention the prize in official promotion materials, as well as during the film distribution. Signing the application considers acceptance of the festival rules. Films shown at previous festivals of SREM FILM FEST will not be considered for selection.

All incoming charges are paid by the sender.

The deadline for submission of films selected for the competition part of the program is no later than 45 days before the Festival.

With the signature provided on the application form, the festival is given permission to use and publish all the materials mentioned above, in the festival catalogue, on the internet, as well as for the press service needs.

At the same time festival is given permission to publish sequences of the film (up to 10% of total duration) for the promotional purposes.

ARTICLE 5 / SELECTION AND SCREENINGS
Festival reserves the right to screen the awarded films in the projection areas without special charge, for promotion of awarded films and the festival itself.

Members of the jury are led by the regulations for the work of jury. (Jury work Guidelines)

ARTICLE 8 / THE ORGANIZER

ARTICLE 9/ FINAL PROVISIONS
With the entry into force of this Regulation, the previous regulation is repealed.
Once these Regulations are announced, the previous ones are repealed.
