Guadalajara Solidarity Film Festival (FESCIGU) celebrates its 21st edition this year. Throughout these years, we have tried to bring our audience the best of the short film world, with a social, vindictive or simply humanistic content. All genders fit, as long as violence is not advocated. The FESCIGU is a preselection festival for the Goya Awards.

AWARDS

The following prizes are established within the Official Section:

• First Picazo Prize for Best Short Film: €3,000, diploma and trophy.

• Second Picazo Award for Best Short Film: €2,000, diploma and trophy.

• Picazo Audience Award: €1,000, diploma and trophy.

The following prizes are established within the Requetecortos Section:

• First Picazo Prize for the Best Requetecorto: €800, diploma and trophy.

• Second Picazo Prize for Best Requetecorto: €400, diploma and trophy.

A prize is established among all the short films that participate in the parallel sections, to the short film that stands out for its social commitment:

• Picazo Award for Social Awareness: €800, diploma and trophy.
