Baix Films Festival is a short film festival in Barcelona.

Since 2018, it's a place where arts such as film, music and dance merge to make an event full of artists from all fields.

From Baix Films we have created this festival to raise awareness of emerging artists, so that together we can help each other grow the cinema and his culture.

BASES OF PARTICIPATION


1. BAIX FILMS FESTIVAL is aimed at those filmmakers who perform independent or low-budget productions.


2. The festival is free theme. Only short films will be accepted.


3. Participation in the contest is completely free.


4. All persons or private spaces that appear in the short films must do so with your consent. In no case will those short films be accepted that attack a group, contain discriminatory material and / or violate the dignity of people.


5. Short films must be those of the author or authors submitting them.


6. The duration of the short films must be more than 1 minute and must not exceed 8 minutes.


7. The presentation of the short films will be made through the online platform Festhome.


8. All foreign-speaking short films must be subtitled in Spanish or Catalan.


9. Only short films from Catalonia will be accepted.


10. The presentation period of the short films ends on June 12, 2020. The short films presented after the agreed date will not enter the ongoing edition of the festival⁠⁠⁠⁠.


11. After the deadline, all short films will be submitted to a selection of nominations for the festival gala, which will take place on July 18.


12. The publication date will be July 1, to which an email will be sent. If the participants do not answer said email confirming the presence of a representative of the short film at the festival, within 7 days, they will be disqualified and another participant will take their place.


13. The date of the festival is July 18 in Viladecans, Barcelona. In the Ateneu of Popular Culture Can Batllori.
