Mogilev State Enterprise «Kinovideoprokat» respectfully informs You that the XXIV International Festival of Animation Films «Animaevka-2021» will be held in Mogilev (The Republic of Belarus) in October 2021.

Over the period of its existence, the Festival has become a holiday of animation for children and adults. There are events in every regional center of Belarus.

There are demonstrations of competitive and out-of-competition programs, creative meetings with the producers of animation films, classes, exhibitions of children’s fine arts and decorative-applied arts for the audience.

The program of the Festival includes:
- contest of animation films;
- contest of children's animation films;
- contest of children’s fine arts and decorative-applied arts «My favourite cartoon».

- "Best animated film of the festival" (Grand Prix);
- "Best animated film for children";
- "Best experimental animated film festival";
- "Best artistic design";
- "Best screenplay of the animated film festival"
- "Best Director of animation film festival"
- "Best background music of the animation film festival"
- "Best debut";
- "Best student film"
- "Prize for Master".

Conditions of the contest of animation films

1. The film should be created in the last 2 years (2019-2021) preceding the opening day of the Festival.

2. Panel of experts selects the participating animation films according to the following criteria:

- presentation of a wide range of modern animation technique in works;
- presence and interpretation of the idea;
- artistic level;
- aesthetic and moral filling of theme.

3. The decision about number of films, selected for the contest, is made by panel of experts not later than 20 days before the opening of the Festival.

4. Carriage of film copies as well as transport charges for delivery of films are paid by an applicant. Film copies which are sent for a contest won’t be returned.

5. Films without the application and information for catalogue (biography, filmography, photo of the director, film frame and synopsis) are not accepted for the participating in the contest.

6. The Jury evaluates competitive programs according to the following criteria:
– the artistic quality of animated films;
– originality, creative intent of the author (authors);
– directing, music, visual solution;
– technique of animation;
– moral and aesthetic level

Conditions of the contest of children's animated films;

1. The participants of the contest are children from 5 to 17 years.

2. The film should be created in the last 2 years (2018-2020) preceding the opening day of the Festival.

3. The Jury evaluates competitive programs in 2 age groups: 5-10, 11-17 years, according to the following criteria:

- artistic level of animated films;
- originality of creative vision of an author (authors);
- originality of the author’s manner.

4. Winners will be awarded in each age group for 1, 2, 3 places.
