The Pensilvania Film Festival intends to consolidate itself as an alternative of entertainment, culture and tourism for the municipality, bringing the community closer to visual and cinematographic expression and interacting with the population and its visitors through workshops and public screenings, creating human tissue around to art and culture as a natural expression of the human being.

Providing training opportunities for all the inhabitants of Pensilvania and surrounding municipalities

MY LAND IS A VIDEO

This call seeks to encourage and reward all Colombian audiovisual producers, creators and filmmakers who generate their own valuable content where our cultural heritage is highlighted, through stories narrated in a free format short film between 7 and 15 minutes long maximum.

The call seeks to highlight the landscape, cultural beliefs, our iconography, our knowledge, our gastronomy, our ancestry, our narratives and any artistic or conceptual expression that supports Colombian art and reinforces our imaginary or Colombian cultural heritage.

It has two categories

Category 1 (Amateur): Short films created by Colombian filmmakers in training or empirical, producers or visual artists or from areas related to the seventh art with or without experience who are starting in the filmmaking industry. With ages between 18 and 25 years of age.
In this category, first, second and third place will be awarded for best regional short film.

Category 2 (Professional): Short films created by Colombian filmmakers who support experience of more than 3 years as audiovisual filmmakers, producers or visual artists or in areas related to the seventh art, with probed experience in the filmmaking industry and that the position of Producer or Director has supported professional title with valid Reel.
In this category, first, second and third place will be awarded for best regional short film.

Conditions:
It is mandatory that the piece in its visual or sound narrative represents values ​​or icons of our Colombian cultural heritage, any short film that is not within this requirement will not be evaluated.
Duration of the piece: from 7 to 15 min long maximum
Genre or format: Free
Spanish Language
Submission format: For category 1 and 2 Copy in mp4 (compressed between 3000 and 5000 KBS).
Send Curriculum Vitae of the person applying for the project (Individual, producer, director or Audiovisual Company)
Send Reel: Compulsory category 2
It must not contain inappropriate or sexual language that prevents its projection to a child audience.

The prizes will be announced 2 months before the start of the festival.
