The Boston Latino International Film Festival showcases films that deal with issues of importance and interest to the Latino community in the US, Latin America, and Spain. An important part of our mission is to portray an accurate image and representation of Latinos in the US and Latin America.
A large portion of BLIFF's programming focuses on human rights, immigration, environment and overall social justice issues.

BLIFF happens every year at Harvard and Northeastern University. Our audience are mostly residents of the City of Boston and members of the academic community. There are over 30 universities in the Boston Metro area and the students, faculty and staff of local colleges and universities are about 55% of our audience.

The Boston Latino International Film Festival (BLIFF), "Bridging Communities Through Movies," will screen the best current videos and films in the following categories: Feature Film, Documentary, and Short Film. The Festival will be held in November 2015.

BLIFF 2015 Call Fro Entries

The 13th Annual Boston Latino International Film Festival is now accepting submissions!
This year the Boston Latino International Film Festival (BLIFF) will host its 13th annual festival, which will be filled with four intense days of films, receptions and special events on November 2015. BLIFF’s call for entries will be open until September 15th, 2015.

There are no category restrictions. Each work is juried solely on its own merits. BLIFF seeks any combination of inventive, incisive, bold, vital and otherwise provocative work of any genre. BLIFF will be selecting pieces in the three following categories: Documentaries (shorts & full length), Narrative (shorts & full length) and short experimental.

All of these films will be premiering in Boston.
