AWARDS:

-"Escobar de Película" Trophy, to the best shorfilm of the competition.
-Best fiction film.
-Best animated film.
-Best documentary film.
-Best film of the Escobar township.
-Best foreign language film.

-The winner of the trophy to the best work of the contest will participate in "The night of the short film", annually organized by INCAA in the Gaumont cinema, involving all the winners of national competitions.
-Best foreign film award: foreign films participating in "film Escobar 2014 must be dubbed or subtitled into Spanish."
-Consigning mandatory country of origin. (foreign films do not participate in the national contest)
-The jury may award mentions to the artistic or technical areas that they consider suitable.

OBJECTIVES OF COMPETITION:

The main objective of this competition, will be to disseminate the works of filmmakers from across the country to give them opportunity to showcase their expressive and technical possibilities.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION :

May participate films and videos produced from the year 2011.
Participating foreign films must be dubbed or subtitled to Spanish.

Within these categories, the themes will be free.

Duration:
-Maximum 20 minutes.


Closing date for receipt of materials:
JULY 15, 2014

The competition authorities may copy the submitted materials to integrate it to their library.
Delivered materials not withdawn from Escobar de Película until sixty (60) days after ended the contest, will be at the disposal of the organization.
Escobar de Película will put special care into the receipt of the materials received, however shall not be responsible under any circumstances for loss or harm.
Participation implies the total acceptance of these rules.
If you consider any matter derived from the application of this regulation, it shall be resolved by the organizers of the contest.
