The sixth edition of the 7th Moon Festival, International Festival of Long and short films, organized by the Association loi 1901 "The New Moon" will take place from Tuesday 26 March 2019 to Monday 1 April 2019 in Rennes. The films in official competition will be projected between March 26 and April 1, 2019 at night.

For all of its selections, the 7th Moon Festival will select only long and short films whose directors were under 31 years of age, at the time of the completion of the film.

Fourteen prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival:

-The Jury Prize International feature film-the International Feature film Award for staging
-The International feature Film award from the public
-The Jury prize National short film
-The Jury prize International short film
-The short Film award of the National staging
-The short film award for the International staging
-The National public short Film award-the International public short Film Award
-The short film prize of National Hope-the short film award of the International Hope
-The short Film Award for Best Soundtrack
-Best Short Documentary award-best Experimental Short Film Award

Regulation 2018/2019 – FILMS in competition
Article 1
The sixth edition of the 7th Moon Festival, International Festival of Long and short films, organized by the Association loi 1901 "The New Moon " will take place from Tuesday 26 March 2019 to Monday 1 April 2019 in Rennes. The films in official competition will be projected between March 26 and April 1, 2019 at night.

Article 2
The festival is open to all types of shorts and feature films: fiction, documentaries or animations, completed after January 1, 2018 for short films (between 1 and 59 minutes) and January 1, 2017 for feature films (from 60 minutes).

Article 3
The festival accepts films from all over the world (including France) for its international competition. The festival accepts only French films for its parallel selections. Heard by French film: French majority or French film director.

Article 4
For all of its selections, the 7th Moon Festival will select only long and short films whose directors were under 31 years of age, at the time of the completion of the film.

Article 5
The festival programs between 4 and 8 long and short films by selection. This selection, which is intended to the maximum exclusive, eclectic and quality is carried out by the artistic direction of the festival. This decision cannot be the subject of a complaint.

Article 6
Registration for the official competition is done via the online registration form available in the inscription section of the website www.7emelune.com. And also on the short film agency platform Festhome. The deadline for registration and submission of the film is January 31, 2019 at 11:59 pm.

Article 7
The rights holders will be informed of the decisions of the selection committee by mail from 11 February 2019.

Article 8
If there is a selection, the director or producer who has entered a film will be held responsible for making a copy of the film available at the festival. After the announcement of the official selection, no film withdrawals will be accepted.

Article 9
Any selected film shipment is the responsibility of the Assign. The return of the film is taken over by the Festival.

Article 10
The jury of the festival will be composed of personalities and professionals of the cinema and/or representatives of art and culture.

Article 11
Fourteen prizes will be awarded at the closing of the festival: the International Feature Film Jury Prize, the International Feature Film award, the International Feature Film Award, the National and international Short Film Jury Prize, The short Film Award for national and international staging, the national and International Short Film Award, the National and International Short Film Award, the short Film Award for Best Soundtrack, the Best Court award Documentary film and the best Experimental short film award.

Article 12
The organizing association "the New Moon" reserves the right to cancel the festival in the event of a major problem.

Article 13
Participation in the 7th Moon Festival requires adherence to this regulation and the prior observance of the pre-selection conditions. It is also up to the filmmakers to comply with the SACEM regulations.

Article 14
If there is a disagreement on the interpretation of the regulation, the French text will be authentic. Any dispute relating to its application and interpretation shall be submitted to the competent courts of Rennes. This Regulation applies to the whole of the official selection.
