 XII IXTENCO INTERNATIONAL SHORTFILM FESTIVAL 2017
 
1.- The Ixtenco International Short film Festival’s main objective is to provide a opportunities for exhibition of quality films, trying to bring together those who make the movies and those interested in this task for film preservation and exchange ideas. This Festival is not for profit or financial gain.

2.- The XII edition of The Ixtenco, Short film Festival will be celebrated on November 17 and 18, 2017 in the city of Ixtenco, Tlaxcala, Mexico.

3.- CATEGORIES. The following categories have been established : SHORTFILM FICTION – SHORT ANIMATION - filmed in any film, video or digital format, with duration between 3 minutes and 20 minutes (including credits).

4.- EXHIBITION. The Festival shall determine the results, order and dates for exhibition of the selected films. The results will be noticed to the directors or producers via email.

5.- CONDITIONS.A Registration is free of cost for the film makers.B There is no limit to the amount of films that a filmmaker or producer may register.C The maximum duration of short films is 20 minutes, including credits.

D  Music videos, commercial work and political propaganda are not accepted.E  In order to be admitted, the materials must be presented in Spanish or English, but with subtitles in Spanish.F- Online screeners can be submitted through http://www.festhome.com/f/1240.

G- When submitting your film, please also provide an “Electronic Press Kit” including the following information:

Synopsis of the film (in Spanish if available)
Still photo from the film (Color at 300 dpi, jpg or tif format)

Brief Biography of the Director (in Spanish and English if available or either of the two languages)
Director’s Photograph (Color at 300 dpi, jpg or tif format)
Film Credits

H- The deadline delivery of materials is October 31, 2017.I- All shipping expenses of participating works, from their place of origin to the address of this organization, shall be paid exclusively by the participant. The Festival will not be responsible for the cost of receiving any additional materials.

J- Once a film has been submitted for participation it cannot be withdrawn.K-The Festival does not pay screening fees.

L- Selected films may form part of the festival’s travelling showcases.
