Documentary film category. Must be a recent documentary that has not been released to television in Australia.

Documentary on any subject. Must have sub-tittles if not in english. Must be no less than two years old.

Submit via this option and get exclusive feedback on your work directly from the Sanctuary Film festival from industry producers directors and actors including festival founder Mike Goldman. They will share with you their thoughts on your work, along with any recommended suggestions for instant improvement, and grades that cover Originality / Creativity, Direction, Writing, Cinematography, Performances, Production Value, Pacing, Structure, Sound and Music. They will also offer suggestions on where to submit to in future, and a clear indication on where to improve and how to get there. This is a great option for those willing to tackle some hard truths in their work, but also to gain any vital knowledge and confidence in pursing a long and strong career in film.

$1000 in cash prizes for a short animation up to ten minutes. Prize donated by animation production company SLR productions Sydney and includes meeting with Susanne Ryan, founder and CEO of one of the best animation companies in the world SLR productions.

This is for Virtual Reality short film running 3 minutes or more. This is the second year that we have has VR at our festival and we believe this is going to explode over the next few years.
