Asiatica, Encuentros con el Cine Asiático ()

Long length, short films and documentary admitted.

All the films selected must be provided by their submitters in their original language with English subtitles.
Eligible films for selection in the International Competition for the Best Asian Feature Film of 2013 have to be completed after October 1st, 2012. The distribution date or the date of the first public screening will be a decisive factor.
Eligible films for selection in the International Competition for the Best Asian Documentary Film of 2013 have to be completed after January 1st, 2012. The distribution date or the date of the first public screening will be a decisive factor.
The films, in order to be selected for competition, must be Italian premiere
If a film is selected, screening formats allowed are: 35mm, Digi Beta PAL, Beta SP PAL, DvCam, DCP, HDCAM. Other formats must be approved by the Festival Programming Office.
All selected films will guarantee to the Festival a copy of the complete dialogue list and a copy stick to the final editing in DVD format, for electronic subtitles needs
The Director (or one of the main characters) of feature films in competition will be reimbursed for travel costs and for their accommodation costs in Rome.
Awards: Città di Roma Awards for the Best Asian Feature Film and for the Best Asian Documentary Film. Works selected will also run for two other awards: Asiatica Award to an Asian Director for its work and People Choice Award to the feature or documentary film most voted by the public.
