A touring festival of science fiction films of all sorts: animated, live action, experimental, mainstream, and just plain weird are all welcome! We're working on a three-plus hour touring festival to the Bay Area in October of 2014!

We'll be awarding Best Film, Best Director, Best Effects, and Best Animation trophies, as well as an Audience Award.

SUBMISSIONS:

First off, we want any film with any science fiction content. We're putting together a 3 hour or so show, a program that we want to cover the world of science fiction from pillar to post. From overtly science fictional to sly and subtle pieces, we're hoping for the kind of films that make you think. Animations, Live-Action, Avant Garde / Experimental, even documentaries on science fiction personality/events would be great! We just want to showcase the best science fiction short films we can get.

Time limit? 40 minutes.

Submitting? The easy way is to make yourself a movie, then put it up at www.festhome.com. If you want it to be public-viewable, that's cool too. It doesn't have to be a premiere of any kind. We just want the best of science fiction short film!

Now, we have no Submission fee. We think that's just rude! Also, when the time comes for us to show the series, we're gonna make every effort to have every screening be free! We're about bringing the best science fiction films to as many people as possible for as little as possible!

Deadline is set for July 30th, 2014 with screenings starting in October!
