VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI – is a place of encounter and confrontation for audiovisual products made by young people aged between 14 and 30 years old.

Aims to promote the dissemination of videos of girls and boys and is a showcase of creative works in the world of adolescence and youth.

Who can participate

Can participate in the contest, video products made autonomously by young people aged between 14 and 30 years, residents throughout the country and internationally.

Each Jury will assign to each work deemed best, according to your competence.

VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI is a Video Contest that encourages youths to submit
original and creative videos focusing on the Youth’s world.

Young people from 14 to 30 years of age are invited to submit their videos of 10 minutes maximum in length

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.

Rules and Regulations


1.Organizers

“Ciak... un’emozione” VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI is organized and
promoted by “Associazione Culturale Matteo Bolla.”


2. OBJECTIVES
“Ciak...un’emozione” VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI challenges teens to submit original and creative videos focusing on the Youth’s world and in
particular on Feelings and Emotions, highlighting fears, adrenaline, joy,
disappointments, illusions, dreams.

All videos must fit with the theme of emotions. No video may contain vulgarity,
violence, defamatory language, political references or any other subject
deemed by the Video Festival organizers to be inappropriate for the tone of the competion.


3. DATES

The closing date for entries was set on September 30th 2017 .

The 8th edition of “ Ciak... un’emozione” VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI will be held
on 12th november 2017 in Sanremo - Teatro del Casinò - Corso degli Inglesi n. 18


4- COMPETITION

Entry to the competition is free.

All videos submitted will be selected by the Festival Committee.

All entrants must be between the age of 14 and 30.

All entries must not exceed the length of 10 minutes including credits. All those longer than 10 minutes will be automatically excluded.

All videos not in Italian must have Italian subtilles.

All videos received will become part of the Festival archive.

The Committee will review all videos and, after the decision, notify the finalist video makers by email.

Photographic collages are not admitted

Entrants are responsible for the Postage and packaging costs.


5. OFFICIAL SECTIONS

The competition is subdivided in four sections:

- National short films
- International short films

- Animation short films

- Spot social messages

- Award “directors in grass” (short films realised without the utilisation of professional
technic and without the help of a production).


6. INFORMATIVE NOTE ON RIGHTS (copyright)

Each author shall ensure:

- that your work will not infringe in any way the rights of others, both in terms of images, both for what concerns any contributions audio and text. In case the submitted work includes content belonging to third parties, or of rights in which belong to third parties, the work must be accompanied by model
release and/or statement of licence to use the material. The Festival direction declines all responsibility for content licensing and terms of use, identifying the author as sole recipient for any acts of retaliation or dispute
by any rights holders he will be able to decide on the possible exclusion with the competition
or the revocation of the attributed
prize.

- that your work are not obscene, violent, racist or discriminate against other people's lifestyles, cultures, political or religious views.


7. SUBMISSION

All entries must be sent with the official card downloadable from our website
www.matteobolla.com which must be completed in its entirety

For minors is necessary also the
card release form.


8. Awards

The committee will nominate four juries.

Each Jury will assign the Video festival frame to each winner.


9. PROIEZIONE E UTILIZZO DEI VIDEO

a)The festival schedule will be decided exclusively by the Board.

b) All videos received will not be returned and will be part of “Ciak... un’emozione” VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI” archive.

c) The entrants will continue to own the rights of their video, but when they submit the videos they agree that “Ciak... un’emozione”
VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI” has unlimited use of the videos

d) “ Ciak... un’emozione” VIDEOFESTIVALGIOVANI” and its associated
partners reserve the right to show any submitted videos a limitless, non- commercial, number of times in whatever format they deem fit in order to further the educational aims.
