EXA Festival is an annual Film Festival hosted at the Manuela Beltrán University in the city of Bogotá, which offers possibilities for circulation and exhibition where shortfilms are presented in order to give them awards or distinctions to different aspects of the quality in the cinematographic technique and narrative and which training and promotion activities are carried out around the film industry and the creative industries.

In process.

- The festival will take place from November 12th to 15th of 2019 in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
- Registration will be free and will be done through an online form: from September 20, until October 25, 2019.
- The list of selected works will be announced on Saturday October 30th of 2019 by email. Notifying the decision taken by the jurors.
- Works can be submitted by undergraduate, postgraduate in filmmaking or similar to audiovisual and colleges. According to the general and particular requirements of each category may participate
- Colombian shortfilms whose production is after January 1st of 2017 can participate. These short films must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes.
- The registration process will take place before 11:59 pm on the closing date and attaching the material requested there. No physical copy will be accepted or outside the platform.
- Only the Director or Producer of the work may appear as contestants.
- The participant authorizes the EXA Festival to use a maximum of 3 minutes of visual material for promotional purposes. The organizers are also authorized, the non-commercial exhibition of their work in the universities and spaces that make up the national exhibition.
- The participant declares to the registration form that he owns all the rights of the work registered of his sound and
/ or visual files, and exonerates the Organization of the Festival, the Program in Direction and Production of Cinema and Television and the Manuela Beltrán University of any claim that third parties may make regarding the public exhibition, their intellectual or patrimonial property.
- The participant whose work is selected cannot withdraw it once the selection has been published.
- The presentation of the work to our festival implies the acceptance of the bases with the signing of the exhibition rights, the contestant declares it.
