The national film festival of Berja aims to disseminate and serve as a showcase for national and only cinema. It will show audiovisual works such as short films, feature films as well as colloquiums with great figures of national cinema.

The FescinaB takes place at the prestigious "Miguel Salmerón" auditorium in Berja (Almería), which will welcome filmmakers from all corners of Spain to learn about the culture, gastronomy and people of this land.

- Only national works may be submitted (Filmed in Spain) regardless of the country of origin of their authors.


- Music clips will not be accepted.


- The films (Short and feature films) must have been shot after January 1, 2022.


- The language of the work must be Castilian or in its absence subtitled to this.


- The duration of the submitted films may not exceed 30 minutes.


- The length of the feature films submitted must be more than 60 minutes.


- Only works registered by Festhome will be accepted.


- Each author or producer can present the number of films they want.


- In case of selection, it will be obligatory to send a copy in DCP of the work within a period of 5 days from the notification. If not, the work will be automatically disqualified.


- Films sent in past editions will not be accepted.


- The attendance of the winner or a representative to collect the award will be mandatory. The festival will cover transportation expenses and one night's stay in Berja.


- The participants authorize the organization to use extracts of the piece, for its diffusion in any means of communication in order to promote the festival. Likewise, the festival may use photographs of the films and directors, in the press and other media, as well as for the elaboration of the festival catalog.


- The sending of your work implies the acceptance of all the sections of these bases, as well as the resolution, by the organization, of any problem not foreseen in these.


- The person registering the work declares to be authorized by the production company to provide the copy of the film and accept the rules of the contest.
