You can submit short films for free in three theme categories:
• War and Peace
• Cultural Heritage
• Worker's Rights
• Children's Rights
The winner for the Best Sound Design will be awarded with a sculptural art work made by maître luthier and provided by “Cremona, città della musica e della liuteria”.

Humans’s Rights International Film Festival Cremona
The third edition will be held from October 7th to 13rd 2019 at Monteverdi Theatre of Cremona, Italy.
The following is the Rules and Regulations governing the submission of short-films for consideration for the 2019 Humans’s Rights International Film Festival Cremona (hereafter called the “Festival”).
RULES
1 - Submission is free of charge
2 - Short-films must apply for one of this categories theme: - War and Peace - Cultural Heritage
- Worker’s Rights
- Children’s Rights 3 - Submission must be sent before June 30th 2019. 4 - Short-films must be in Italian or subtitled in Italian, Spanish or English. Subtitles are accepted only in srt format or similar. 5 - The maximum running time allowed is 20 minutes (titles and credits included). 6 - Short-films must be completed after January 1st, 2017. 6 - Each author/director can submit more than one short-film for each category. 7 - Winners are welcome to attend the Festival. Travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by the Festival.

PRESELECTION AND SELECTION
From the films received before the deadline, the Festival selection committee will choose the titles that will take part at the third edition, on the Official Selection and/or on the screenings for schools.
Among the selected short-films, an special Jury, composed by musicians and musical composers, will award the Best Sound Design Prize.
The official list of the films participating to the Festival will be published on the website www.festivaldirittiumani.com on September 10th 2019. All the selected authors will receive a notification via e-mail by the end of August, 2019. The director/producers undertake to send before September 10th 2019 a downloadable link (such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Wetransfer, ecc.) containing a copy of the short-film in screening format (MOV HD 1080p at least) and subtitles in a separated file (srt or similar), under the pain of exclusion.
Non Italian Short-films must send Italian, Spanish or English subtitles.
NOTES
Films must be the original work of the applicants. If a film is based upon another person’s life or upon a book or other underlying work, applicant(s) must secure any necessary rights to make such adaptations. By entering the competition, you represent that you have secured all necessary rights.
Applicants are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary rights and permissions for third-party materials included in their films, including but not limited to music, trademarks, logos, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. The Festival expressly disclaims all liability or responsibility for any violations of the foregoing.
According to the DLGS 196/2003 (the Italian privacy law) about the use of personal data, we inform that the personal data you’re providing with the submission forms will be used by the Festival in full respect of the law. While giving your email address, you’ll give your consent to receive information about and Humans’s Rights International Film Festival Cremona its initiatives.

Festival Internazionale di Cinema e Diritti Umani de Cremona
La tercera edición se llevará a cabo del 7 al 13 de octubre 2019 en el Teatro Monteverdi de Cremona, Italia.
REGLAMENTO
1 - La inscripción de los cortometrajes es gratuita.
2 - Tres secciones están previstas: - Paz y guerra - Patrimonio Cultural
- Trabajo
- Derechos de la infancia 3 - La inscripción debe efectuarse a más tardar el 30 de junio de 2019. 4 - Pueden participar obras de cualquier nacionalidad, en italiano o con subtítulos en italiano, español o inglés, formato srt. 5 - Se admitirán cortometrajes con una duración máxima de 20 minutos, incluidos títulos, realizados a partir del 1 de enero de 2017. 6 - Cada autor puede presentar más de un trabajo para cada sección. 7 - Todos los gastos relacionados con los gastos de viaje y alojamiento de los participantes que deseen asistir al Festival son totalmente a cargo de ellos.
CÓMO PARTICIPAR
La inscripción se efectiviza al completar los siguientes pasos, antes del 30 de junio de
2019: Complete el formulario de registro y el formulario de liberación que puede descargar

PRESELECCIÓN Y SELECCIÓN
El comité de selección del Festival evaluará los cortometrajes en competencia y seleccionará aquellos que habrán recibido la aprobación más alta. Estará compuesto por expertos y apasionados en cinematografía, fotografía, música, etc.
Un jurado de músicos de Cremona premiará, entre los cortometrajes seleccionados, el premio a la mejor banda sonora.
Los cortometrajes seleccionados se proyectarán los días previstos para cada sección temática del Festival y/o en los días de proyección para escuelas. Los autores de los cortometrajes seleccionados para la competencia serán contactados por los organizadores a fines de agosto 2019.
El 10/9/2019 los cortometrajes seleccionados se publicarán en una lista visible en el sitio web www.festivaldirittiumani.com
En caso de selección, el autor y / o la producción y / o titular de los derechos de cada obra enviarán un enlace descargable (a través de plataformas de intercambio de archivos como Wetransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) a la organización del festival antes del 10/09/2019 bajo pena de exclusión.
Este video debe estar en formato utilizable para la proyección, el formato básico requerido es mov Full HD 1080p. Los subtítulos de las obras deben enviarse en italiano, español o inglés (si son películas no italianas) en un archivo separado en formato .srt o similar.
NOTAS
Al registrarse en la competencia, cada autor responde por el contenido de sus obras y autoriza explícitamente la proyección de las obras presentadas, exclusivamente con fines culturales / promocionales y para la prensa. El autor también declara y garantiza que los derechos de la obra, en su totalidad, le pertenecen y que no infringen los derechos de terceros, como otros autores, sujetos retratados, cesionarios de derechos, derechos musicales, etc. Si la obra presenta contenido que no es propiedad del sujeto que participa en el Festival, este último se compromete a asumir todas las autorizaciones necesarias para participar en el Festival. En cualquier caso, el participante en el Festival y / o el autor del trabajo se comprometen a mantener a la organización libre de reclamos, solicitudes de daños y / o gastos a quien lo haya hecho. La solicitud de admisión al Festival implica la aceptación incondicional de todos los puntos del reglamento.
De acuerdo con la ley italiana 196/03 los datos personales de los autores serán utilizados solo con el fin de organizar el Festival.
