Início do Festival: 13 Novembro 2014      Fim do Festival: 16 Novembro 2014

Lorne Film 2014 will build on the success of the inaugural 2013 festival – where over 1000 admissions viewed 29 films across 5 screens, and film professionals from across Australia descended on Lorne to create, and interact in a true festival community.

Featuring a range of intimate venues against the backdrop of Lorne’s unique coastal beauty, Lorne Film 2014 is a four-day celebration of international film for the people who make, watch and love film, held from November 13 – 16, 2014.

Lorne Film 2014 will continue to nurture and promote Lorne and the surrounding Otway region as a centre for film culture and commerce, a port of call for industry leaders and world-class talent for the duration of the festival and beyond. In creating a ‘film market’ Lorne Film will capitalise on Lorne’s history as a meeting place where in people will come from across the planet to buy, sell, talk, and think film.

Lorne Shorts – a short film competition open to filmmakers from across the planet.

Submissions will be accepted for films of up to 15 minutes in duration, with short-listed films featuring in the Lorne Film 2014 Program.

The eventual winner can accept a prize of $3,600 in film editing from Melbourne based company iCandy Productions.

Lorne Film is calling for filmmakers across Australia and the world to submit a film/s for consideration in the Lorne 2014 Program.

Please include the following materials with your submission:

• One DVD copy of the film with the DVD clearly labelled with film title, director and run time. Lorne Film will not accept compilation DVDs (more than one film on a DVD).

• Please printout submission form below and include a printout of the form within your entry package.

• Preview DVDs will not be returned.

• Lorne Film will accept feature films – 1 hour or greater of, Fiction or Documentary completed any year.

• Films must be in their original language, with English subtitles if the original language is not English.

• All films selected even those in English will be given priority if they can provide a second print with English captions/subtitles to enhance the experience of people with hearing impairments.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
