CWIFF 2014 - Rules & Regulations
• If the film is not submitted directly by the film Director/Producer, the submitting person will have to show proof of rights of ownership of the submitting film.
• All films produced from 1st January, 2010 are eligible for competing in this festival.
• Films that are shot in Mobile Camera, iPod, Tablet will not be accepted.
• Films that are shot in 3CCD, HD, 1CCD, Film camera are accepted for the screening.
• Recommended video resolutions: 480p, 720p, 720i, 1080p, 1080i.
• Films that are eligible for theatrical screening will be accepted.
• The decision of the jury will be full and final and no revision of their judgement will be entertained.
• Subtitles are a must for film made other than in Tamil language.
• Vulgarity, obscenity in the film content will not be appreciated and accepted.
• The festival program schedule is at the discretion by the Organizer.
• All components of sound and visuals must be original. For those borrowed sound and visual content the film owner must produce proof of rights.
• Multiple entries from an individual are acceptable with separate fee for each submission.
• All film for selection and festival screening submissions must be submitted in Full SD/HD format via youtube or vimeo links with correct passwords. We also accept the selected films in Full SD/HD format on any media (hard disk, pen drive, DVD etc.) sent directly to the festival office.

• Must submit Promo kit of the film containing poster, working stills, synopsis, Director’s photo, etc.
• Film Categories (Note: All themes of films are accepted):
1. Feature Film (minimum 50mins)
2. Short Film (maximum 40mins)

4. Documentary Film (maximum 40mins)

Men’s Category
• Feature Film- INR 8,427/- (7,500 entry fee +12.36% service tax)

• Ad Film- INR 843/- (750 entry fee +12.36% service tax)
• Documentary Film- INR 1,124/- (1,000 entry fee +12.36% service tax)
Student’s Category:
• Short Film - INR 500 /-

Terms & Conditions for student category:
1. Students must attest the registration form with HOD/DEAN/PRINCIPAL.
2. Students must submit the entry with the photocopy of their college ID card.
3. All the student films will be subjected to preliminary selections, and only those films which are selected by the jury panel will be screened during the film festival.
