Screen Your Film in India

Short Films, Music Videos, Documentaries, Animation Films and Experimental Films.

All participants will get an e-certificate.

The film category, which is included in the festival, is Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animation Film and Experimental Film.

Films produced on any format can be submitted.

All films must carry English Subtitles.

All the films should have a total running time, including front and back credits.

Indian Film Makers can use either Online Submission Platform or Offline Entry Form.
All other Film Makers should submit their film only through our Online Submission Platform.

Dubbed/revised/copied version of a film shall not be eligible for entry in the festival.

Violation of provisions of the Copyright Act, if proved, will result in a bar on the entry of the film.

No submission will be considered until the non-refundable entry fee has been paid.

By submitting a film, all participants give the organiser, ima Short Film Festival 2016 the authorization to the catalogs and publications, as well as on the website, all the information, including photos. The organiser, ima Short Film Festival 2016 will share the information with its publicity partners.

Although participants enjoy freedom of expression in creating their works, their productions must not either in the film or associated posters and documentation:
A. Contain hateful, racist, sexist, offensive or defamatory statements.
B. Cause harm to anyone.
C. Constitute an invasion of privacy

All films which are selected / nominated for the Festival, will be informed by emails & listed on our website www.imafilmsociety.webs.com

The list of selected films will be available on ima Film Festival’s website from December 5, 2016.

All participants will get an e-certificate.

Films once selected & submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances until festival is over.

Programs composed of films may be circulated after the Festival for its promotion in India and abroad.

Organisers reserves the right to not screen any film for any reason it deems valid.

The organiser, ima Short Film Festival 2016 reserves the right to cancel any submission or take any suitable measure in the event of a breach of regulations or in response to any behavior disturbing the course of the festival.

Organisers reserve rights change or re-schedule the dates, venue, awards & categories without information to contestants.

The code of conduct will have to be strictly followed by the entrants; misbehavior will lead to disqualification & legal actions.

The organiser, ima Short Film Festival 2016 or its representative will settle all non-specified cases within the terms of the present regulations and may allow special dispensation regarding justified and specific requests.

The organiser, ima Short Film Festival 2016 reserves the right to refuse the registration of any work/film/person or institution for violating any of the above.
