INTRODUCTION
The artistic director GIGI GIUFFRIDA organizes at the SPORTING CLUB SIPONTO:

APULIA INTERNATIONAL SHORT FIM CONTEST

THE COMPETITION

This is a competition among short films from all over the world, without restrictions, included in the first edition of the International Festival-Competition, which will take place in SIPONTO (MANFREDONIA) in June 2025.

1. Participation
Participation in the Competition is open to both works already publicly viewed and unpublished works.

The proposed works must meet the following requirements:

• they must not exceed 30 minutes in length, excluding opening and closing credits;

• the video files must be in .mp4 format (h.264, with a maximum bitrate of 25 Mbit/sec);

• for works in a foreign language, subtitling in Italian is required

• For works in Italian, subtitling in English is not mandatory

Non-compliance with one or more of the parameters indicated above may result in the exclusion of the work from the selections.

Registration must be made using the specific Registration Form, an integral part of the Announcement.
Each competitor can register more than one short film, by sending a different registration form
for each work submitted.

Participation in the Competition is free of charge.

THE COMPETITION provides for the public viewing of the works, for which prior authorization must be issued on the registration form.

Deadline

Registration must be received by MAY 30, 2025, by sending the requested material to the
following email address: apuliashortfilmcontest@gmail.com or on the FESTHOME platform.

Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

The registration form, duly completed and signed, with particular reference to
the authorization or otherwise for public viewing, must include the link for viewing or downloading, from the cloud or from a large file sending service, of the registered work.

Selection and execution

The Selection Committee, composed of the ARTISTIC DIRECTOR GIGI GIUFFRIDA, experts in the sector, identified by the Organization both among its Members and externally and the opinion of the public, who will choose, among all the works entered, 5 candidates for the awards that include:

-BEST FILM
-BEST DIRECTION
-BEST PROTAGONIST
-BEST SOUNDTRACK
-BEST SCREENPLAY

For the selection and for each award, the respective laurel will be delivered.

The Organization may also provide for any special mentions.

In order to encourage cultural exchange and sharing in the cinematographic field, on the day of the screening for the award recognition, the Organization may provide for the presence of a guest from the world of cinema.

Registration for the Competition entails full and unconditional acceptance of this
Notice-Regulation.
