The festival presents Short Films, Documentaries, Animation Films, Experimental Films, Music Videos and Feature Films over four days of festive celebrations attended by eminent guests from around the world.

The event is committed to the promotion of knowledge, life and culture, as it comes through from films and documentaries, made by people worldwide.

Bolgatty International Film Festival invites entries from filmmakers, television producers, videographers and new media creators who produce fresh, standout productions. It is an excellent venue for new and experimental media, television pilot programs, animation, educational programs, remixes & mashups, movie trailers, music videos, web series and tube length works. As long as your clip is 180 minutes or less, it is eligible for entry.

The submission deadline is coming up on October 30th, and the submission fees are among the most affordably priced on the international festival circuit.

Appreciation Awards
All participants will get an e-certificate.

All Award Winning Films will also get a chance to sell their films at MICRO MOVIE MARKET, an initiative of ARTS LAB FOUNDATION for promoting self movie productions.

FILM SUBMISSION:

Films produced on any format can be submitted.

All films must carry English Subtitles.

All the films should have a total running time, including front and back credits.

Dubbed/revised/copied version of a film shall not be eligible for entry in the festival.

SCREENING FORMAT:
Preferred screening format is MP4. However other formats may also be considered.

SUBTITLING:
Films will only be screened in their original language/version with English Subtitles.

Films will not be screened at the festival without English subtitles.

Filmmakers may please ensure that sub-titles are clear and readable.

Subtitles should not merge with visuals/background.

It would help selection Committee and jury understand the right context and help evaluate the film better.

Documentary - Up to 60 minutes - $ 20 USD
Animation Film - Up to 60 minutes - $ 20 USD
Experimental Film - Up to 60 minutes - $ 20 USD
Music Video - Up to 30 minutes - $ 20 USD

Feature Film ( Fiction ) - Up to 180 minutes - $ 50 USD
Feature Film (Documentary) - Up to 180 minutes - $ 50 USD
Feature Film (Animation) - Up to 180 minutes - $ 50 USD
Feature Film (Experimental) - Up to 180 minutes - $ 50 USD

All films which are selected / nominated for the Festival will be informed by emails & listed on our website. www.bolgattyfilmfestival.webs.com

The list of selected films will be available on Bolgatty International Film Festival’s website from December 20, 2016.

Films once selected & submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances until festival is over.

Programs composed of films may be circulated after the Festival for its promotion in India and abroad.

A Jury appointed by Arts Lab Foundation (ALF) will select all winners from the selected films.

The list of Award Winning films will be announced on the closing ceremony of 2nd Bolgatty International Film Festival.

The organiser, 2nd Bolgatty International Film Festival or its representative will settle all non specified cases within the terms of the present regulations and may allow special dispensation regarding justified and specific requests.
