BASES


1. all Venezuelan filmmakers residing inside or outside the country and foreign residents may participate.

3. The deadline for material delivery date is Friday 23 October 2015.


4. You must send (02) two copies of audiovisual material, one to be viewed by the jury, and the other for the projections.


5. This year, for reasons of time and due to the significant increase each year of registered short, will preselection by a jury that will consist of professionals from the film, artistic and cultural environment.


6. The audiovisual material sent to participate in the festival must be accompanied by the form and the corresponding sheet, synopsis, curriculum vitae of the director, an authorization of the director or producer to substantiate the projection of the material during the festival and their respective promotion , a photo of the director and an emblematic image of their work in digital format to the following address: recepciónplanillsfcb@gmail.com


7. All work entered must specify the category to participate: NOVEL (Student) or professional and community. They will be accepted works by Venezuelans studying film at international schools just to participate in a special category dedicated to students living abroad.


8. The accepted language is Spanish (except for the ethnic groups with their corresponding translation or subtitling in Spanish).


9. All entries must clearly specify the duration.


10. The participating works must have been produced since 1 February 2013 and must not have participated in previous editions.


11. Copies were received in formats DVD, BLU RAY and AVI (DV NTSC 720x480 / 720x480 NTSC MPG) and Festhome platform.

13. The short duration may not exceed 30 minutes, without exception. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept films and videos of longer duration in exceptional cases.

17. The Jury will select SIX FIRST PRIZES (CNAC Grand Prix. 21. Audience Award is awarded to the best short film of the sample with a statuette awarded by the sponsoring institution.


22. The jury may declare any of the honorable mentions, but not the four first prizes.


23. The decisions of the Jury are final.

26. The festival will be an annual event lasting four days and will be based in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela, between days November 9 and November 12, 2015.


27. Exhibits audiovisual productions will be received according to the program prepared by the Organizing Committee.


28. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept jobs that are not subject to this legislation.
