MADTerrorFest was created with the purpose of covering the vacuum that exists in Madrid regarding the genres of fantasy films and terror concerns.

There is lot of talent already discovered and above all to be discovered. So we have proposed to dig up all that potential and make it available for the lovers of this type of film, which we tell us of course.

We want to do a festival of short films that gradually give rise to the International Film Festival of horror and fantastic of Madrid, and become a reference within the national and international scene.

And of course we want you enjoy it as much as we do to prepare it.

Or better yet, that you may suffer uncompromising hitting boats like maniacs in your seat; We know that you love.

FESTIVAL GUIDELINES

- Registration and submission is done online through FESTHOME platform

- Contents are private and only accessible by the Festival and its contributors.

- Fantasy or Horror Short films with a maximum duration of 15 minutes,

(animated shortfilms will be accepted)

- Shorts can be shot in any format.

- Shorts that are not filmed in Spanish must include Spanish subtitles. This is MANDATORY. If this specific guideline is not properly accomplished, the shortfilm will not be considered.

- Each entry must be completed with:

Details of the work:

• Title

• Duration

• Year of Production

• Short Synopsis

• Promotional image (poster) and 2 photos

• Filming Location

Other data:

• Producer

• Director

• Screenplay

• Main actors

• Phone or e-mail address

- Failure to comply with these requirements will put the shortfilm out of competition. Organization reserves the right to reproduction during the Festival.

- All entries received will be incorporated into the Festival´s library. The Organization reserves the right to use all or part of the material presented in the Festival for promotional use. The registration of the work implies acceptance of these terms.
