The 2nd “Raíces Film Fest” Audiovisual Competition aims to identify, showcase, and celebrate the creativity of young creators connected to rural areas. We are looking for audiovisual works that explore, question, or reinterpret contemporary rural life from a free, critical, and artistic perspective, across any audiovisual genre.

Денежные призы: 450€

The following awards will be presented:

First Prize: €300 cash prize.

Jury Special Mention: €150.

Audience Award: Diploma + visibility on partner platforms.

Young people aged 35 or under (inclusive) as of the submission deadline may participate, provided that they currently live in, have previously lived in, or can demonstrate a connection to rural areas within Spanish territory.

Participation may be individual or collective. In the case of groups, all members must meet the age and rural connection requirements.

Audiovisual works with a maximum duration of 3 minutes will be accepted, in any of the following genres:

Fiction microfilm

Documentary or docufiction

Animation

Music video

Video art or experimental film

Minimum Technical Requirements

Minimum resolution: 1080p (Full HD), horizontal format.

Format: MP4 or MOV (H.264 codec).

Audio: Integrated stereo audio.

Subtitles: Optional, but mandatory if any part of the text is in a language other than Spanish.

Each participant may submit a maximum of 2 works, provided they comply with the competition rules.
