When you access the SUBMIT section, you will find a field where you must upload the project's dossier as a single PDF file.
The following documents must be submitted:
Project statement
Detailed synopsis
Adaptation proposal
Letter of interest regarding the rights to the literary work (if the work is not original)
Complete screenplay treatment
Zinetxiki Zinemaldia launches the Gidoi open call, focused on adapting literary works for children's and young adult audiovisual content. The aim is to support projects in the early stages of development and encourage the creation of high-quality content for new generations.
Every story begins with an idea. Make yours connect with new generations!
The call is open to adults, either individually or as part of a team, who wish to adapt a literary work (original, published, in the public domain, or with current rights) into a short film or series (fiction, animation, or documentary) aimed at children and young people.
To apply, participants must submit a project statement, a detailed synopsis, an adaptation proposal, a letter of interest regarding the rights to the literary work (if the work is not original), and the complete screenplay treatment.
