EDITA is a short film festival focused on social transformation. Its goal is to increase critical capability, involve society in the promotion of human rights through film making, besides making the public feel the calling of social change.
ASAD aspires to encourage the debate and the critical reflection about these topics through the participants’; works and proposals. We want to know new social imaginaries, look from other perspectives and approximate to non-hegemonic proposals which support a sustainable human development, human rights and social justice.
The contest “EDITA 2022” is included in the project “Actúa Resiliente: Construyendo resiliencia socio-ecológica a través del empoderamiento comunicativo de la ciudadanía andaluza comprometida con el fomento de la sostenibilidad ambiental y la equidad de género”, of Asociación Solidaria Andaluza de Desarrollo (ASAD) and funded by the Agencia Andaluza de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AACID).
