Arraial Cine Fest – International Film and Video Festival of Arraial d’Ajuda is a fully online audiovisual content festival with exclusive screenings on the festival’s official website or on the online registration platform.

1.1. Arraial Cine Fest Online - 14th edition - International Film and Video Festival of Arraial d'Ajuda has as its main objective, starting from this edition, to consolidate a virtual and tourist exhibition space of national and international audiovisual production.
1.2. To promote, through the Internet, a space for the dissemination and diffusion of the production and exhibition of films and also of independent videos made with cell phones by tourists.

In addition to the traditional competitive film show, the 14th edition features a tourist video contest made by cell phone. A large part of the world's population has a cell phone capable of capturing great images, and some devices have high-performance lenses. By that I mean that these people have unconditionally become photographers and videographers with the potential to capture beautiful images and make small videos in the face of the high technology available in devices, including the possibility of editing videos via applications. Well, it is in this electronic scenario, where one third of Internet accesses are to watch videos, that the Festival's new format inserts itself. Daily millions of tourists through their mobile phones publish photos and videos of their trips. So, why not encourage them to produce videos with better quality at competition level and to travel more to the most diverse tourist destinations?

They will be available on the official website of the festival or directly on the website
Applications will be open from May 1st to October 31st, 2023
