The sample of school short films of the La Almunia Film Festival is a national short film competition that hosts works made in Early Childhood, Primary and Special Education Centers, Secondary and High School Educational Centers.

Four prizes will be awarded. One in each of the two categories of the Aragonese field and one in each category of the national field. The prizes will be endowed with 300 euros and a diploma.


These awards are sponsored by the "Manuel Giménez Abad" Foundation and will be awarded to the best short films made by students from non-university schools that, in the opinion of the jury, have as essential content the dissemination of values ​​within the curriculum and deal with to promote culture through image. The author or authors of the work must add to the documentation a certificate issued by the secretariat certifying that the participants are enrolled in the corresponding center on the date of submission of the short film.


The jury will be made up of members of the “Florián Rey” Association and reserves the right to declare any of the prizes void.


To collect the prizes it will be essential to attend the closing gala of the Festival or send a person who represents the author of the winning work. The organization will take care of the accommodation and maintenance of one teacher and two participants. Prizes will expire after three months.

1. National short films made by Educational Centers after January 1, 2023 may be submitted to the exhibition. The short films may deal with any subject and must be made exclusively by members of the educational community of the participating schools. Its duration will not exceed 15 minutes including credit titles. Those short films sent to the competition in previous editions of FESCILA in the same category will not be able to participate.


2. The deadline for receiving works begins on November 2, 2024 and will end at 11:59 p.m. on February 25, 2025.


3. The works received will become part of the Association's video library and may be used for non-profit educational and cultural purposes, always with the prior consent of their authors.

4. A maximum of three short films may be submitted per educational center.

5. The works will be presented through the platform for registration and online submission of films to Festhome festivals, on the website http://www.festhome.com. It will be necessary to fill in the fields that the platform requests.


6. The organizing Association will select, from among all the short films presented, the best works that will become finalists and will compete for the prizes.
