Monstro – Jacareí Fantastic Film Festival is an event dedicated to independent cinema, focusing on the fantastic genre (horror, science fiction, and fantasy). It showcases productions from all over Brazil—especially from the Vale do Paraíba region—as well as international films. The festival goes beyond screenings and awards: it promotes interaction between filmmakers and audiences, encouraging active community participation. The goal is to create a space for exchange about audiovisual storytelling and to foster discussions around independent cinema and the fantastic universe.
