Cinema a Pedal is a film festival that promotes sustainable mobility through the audiovisual language. Its programme brings together national and international short and feature films — fiction, documentary, animation and experimental — in which the bicycle takes centre stage, whether as a narrative element, the driving force of the plot, or the guiding thread of the stories.

CINEMA A PEDAL FESTIVAL – 5TH EDITION

Participation is open to any individual, company or association, with no limitations regarding age, nationality or any other type of restriction, provided that they submit an audiovisual work — short or feature film — in which the bicycle plays an essential role.

The Festival is exclusively dedicated to works whose subject matter is related to the use of the bicycle. Eligible films include both fiction and documentary works whose plots focus on bicycles, the people who use them, cyclists or the broader cycling universe.

Works produced from 2023 onwards (included) will be accepted.

Works in any language other than Spanish or Galician must include subtitles in one of these two languages or, alternatively, in English.

The selected works will be screened during the 5th edition of the Cinema a Pedal Festival, to be held from 16 to 20 September 2026 in Nigrán (Galicia, Spain).
