Cinema 4L was created with the intention of bringing the best short format cinema to the smallest towns and rural areas of the Valencian Community.

A Film Festival that selects independent films that would otherwise be inaccessible to the public of these locations.

Outdoor screenings from our 4L with the highest quality, where the audience will decide with their vote the best short film.

Audience award for best short film.
Award to the best Valencian short film.
Award to the best National short film.
Award to the best International short film.

To participate:
1. Fiction, animation and documentary films.

2. Each author can present as many short films as they wish.

3. The short film must be produced from 2015 onwards.

4. Maximum length 30 minutes.

5. Free theme.

6. To participate in the "Valencian Short Films" category, the director of the short film must be born or resident in the Valencian Community, or the company producing the film must have its headquarters in the Valencian Community.

7. Films not spoken in Spanish or Valencian must be subtitled in these languages for public screening if selected.

The registration to the contest means the acceptance of these rules, as well as the resolution by the Cinema 4L team of any problem not included in these rules. Registration fees are non-refundable. The authors, producers or owners of the rights of the works, give the rights of exhibition for the realization of the screenings in the programmes of the different sections in which they have been selected in Cinema 4L. If applicable, they must certify that they are members of SGAE or any other copyright management organisation. At this point, no obligation will be considered by the Festival if this information is not provided.
