This is the only online Film Festival in the world in which the prisoners belonging to the Film Workshop of the Daroca Penitentiary Center (Spain) have an intense and active participation:

Viewing, pre-selecting and deciding the Awards (along with a Jury of professionals of the sector);

Participating in the filming of a comedy sketch alongside an honored star, as well as in all the previous phases – such as the script, planning, acting, lighting, sound and production – and in its post-production;

And in the preparation and conduct of interviews with the aforementioned honored star and other illustrious visitors to the prison.

A job lasting several months that has a very positive impact on their social reintegration.

"BEST SHORT FILM OF FICTION"

For the official section (jury prize for best short fiction film) they consist of a statuette "OCA", a prize of xxx euros and the delivery of a "Diploma of stonecutter" award of the prize. This Diploma is given since 2005 to get those who with their presence or contribution, metaphorically, "open a hole of freedom and hope in the walls of our prisons".

-For the audience award for best short FICTION and DOCUMENTARY film must consist in a statuette "OCA", a cash prize of xxx euros, and the delivery of a
"Diploma of stonecutter" award of the prize. This Diploma is given since 2005 to get those who with their presence or contribution, metaphorically, "open a hole of freedom and hope in the walls of our prisons".

"BEST SHORT DOCUMENTARY"

-For the official section (jury prize for best documentary short) they consist of a statuette "OCA", a prize of xxx euros and the delivery of a "Diploma of stonecutter " award of the prize. This Diploma is given since 2005 to get those who with their presence or contribution, metaphorically, "open a hole of freedom and hope in the walls of our prisons".

-For the audience award for best documentary short must consist in a statuette "OCA", a cash prize of xxx euros, and the delivery of a "Diploma of chipping" award of the prize. This Diploma is given since 2005 to get those who with their presence or contribution, metaphorically, "open a hole of freedom and hope in the walls of our prisons".

AWARD FOR THE "BEST YOUNG SHORT"

The award for the "best young short" (under 21) consist of the delivery of a statuette "OCA" and a "Diploma of stonecutter" award.

SPECIAL PRIZE "PRISONS"

This award consists of a statuette "OCA" and a Diploma of "stonecutter".

GENERAL INFORMATION

- In the contest can participate all perpetrators older than 18 and youngers as well in the Young Prize.

- Each contestant may submit ONE OR MORE short fiction films (without prejudice to also submit works in the remaining categories), made in Spanish or subtitled it in Spanish and whose duration does not exceed 30 minutes. Work carried out by persons belonging to the Organization of the Festival may not enter contest.

Enter contest free-themed works. In any case, the Organization of the competition reserves the right to the non-admission of those shorts as appropriate for thematic, technical, or legal reasons.

For a month (1 to 30 September) will be uploaded to the internet, on the website of the Festival, selected works that moviegoers users to view them and vote for the award of the prize of the public.

SPECIAL PRIZE "BEST YOUNG SHORT"

All authors under 21 years of age (that is, who have not turned 21 on the date of the Festival) may participate in the contest. Works carried out in Colleges, Institutes and Film Schools will also be admitted even if they are directed by the teachers of the aforementioned centers. The directors will prove their age by accompanying a photocopy of their DNI or any other type of ID card or certificate, which they must send to the Festival website.

SPECIAL PRIZE "PRISONS"

All authors may participate in the contest, over 18 years of age and regardless of their nationality, inmates in prisons in Spain and abroad, as well as those made in film workshops in prisons, regardless of whether the direction of the work corresponds to the teacher of the aforementioned workshop. Failing that, the aforementioned award will be given to short films with a prison theme.

This award consists of a statuette "OCA", online shipping or delivery of a Diploma of " stonecutter " (for distances covered within the Spanish territory).
