The First Pila Audiovisual Festival (FAP) produced by the Municipality of Pila, under the organization of the Municipal Cinema Theater "Padre Adolfo Anastasio", will be held in person in that city, from August 25 to 28, 2022.

This festival aims to stimulate and facilitate meetings between members of the cinematography, promote the exhibition, production and reflection on audiovisual production in our locality, generate zonal ties, and present films of all genres, accompanied by their representatives, to
contribute to the development of culture and the progress and dissemination of the audiovisual industry.

The following prizes will be awarded:

REGULATION Bases and Conditions.

1st PILA AUDIOVISUAL FESTIVAL

ARTICLE 1

The First Pila Audiovisual Festival (FAP) produced by the Municipality of Pila, under the organization of the “Padre Adolfo Anastasio” Municipal Cinema Theater, will be held in person in that city, from August 25 to 28, 2022.

This festival aims to stimulate and facilitate meetings between members of the cinematography, promote the exhibition, production and reflection on audiovisual production in our town, generate regional ties, and present films of all genres, accompanied by their representatives, to contribute to the development of culture and the progress and dissemination of the audiovisual industry.

ARTICLE 2

The registration of films in all categories is free and is open to national and international short film productions of all genres.
The productions will not have performance date conditions as it is the first edition of the Festival.

Those films that are directly linked to any member of the group will not be able to participate competitively.
Festival Selection Committee.

The works will have time to register until July 31, 2022.

ARTICLE 3

The 1st edition of the FAP will have only one Competition section, which will be for Short Films, leaving the division into categories to the discretion of the organization if the number of entries warrants it.

ARTICLE 4

To present a film to the Festival selection, it is necessary to complete the steps detailed below:

a) Complete the Registration Form (request it and send it filled to festivalaudiovisualpila@gmail.com)

b) Send a download link to festivalaudiovisualpila@gmail.com whose password, if you have one, will be valid until August 28, 2022. The links of the registered films must necessarily have the download option to be viewed by the Festival Selection Committee. A maximum of 2GB is recommended. Its use will be strictly internal.

The ongoing registration ends on July 31, 2022.

4.1. This registration is open to all audiovisual creators over 18 years of age.

4.2.The short films may not exceed 30 (thirty) minutes, including credit titles.

4.3.The films will be presented in the original language. If the film is not Spanish-speaking, it must be subtitled exclusively.

4.4.The works may have been originally made in any format.

4.5. Up to 3 works per audiovisual creator will be accepted.

The Festival office is located on Calle 6 (San Martín), almost on the corner. 19 (Domingo Rigol), Pila, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina; Tel. (542241) 15-499506. This information is disclosed for the purposes that may correspond, making it expressly clear that the entire registration process will be exclusively online.

ARTICLE 5

The list of selected works will be announced on August 12, 2022 through the official social networks of the Pila Municipal Cinema Theater and privately to the contact email of the work.

Once the Festival has communicated the selection of a film and received a confirmation email from the producer or his representative in accordance with the participation in the FAP, it cannot be withdrawn. Your producer or representative
appointed must submit the film and promotional materials that are requested before the deadline, as indicated in these Regulations. These materials will be used for the catalogue, the website, the press, publicity and dissemination of the film's participation in the Festival.

5.1. The selected participants must send by mail 3 images for the catalog (minimum 300 dpi .jpg format), poster image of 300 dpi quality, trailer, synopsis and technical sheet of the work.

5.2. The screening at the Festival will be in DCP format. Therefore, the copy of the selected film can be delivered in DCP format to the address indicated by the Festival organization, or for later transfer, VIDEO WITH AUDIO – 1920 x 1080 – H.264. or failing that, with the link obtained in the participation as long as it respects the requested technical requirements. The presentation in other formats requires the authorization of the Festival.

ARTICLE 6

6.1. The jury in charge of the competitions will be made up of personalities from the national culture, who will be in charge of choosing the winning short film(s).

6.2. The Festival authorities may be present during the deliberations of the Jury, but they will not be part of them nor will they have any vote.

6. 3. Anyone who has any type of interest in the production or exploitation of a film in competition cannot be a jury.

6. 4. The votes of the Jury will be secret. The members of the Jury firmly commit not to publicly express their opinions regarding aspect of the films submitted for consideration before the official proclamation of the awards.

6.5. The decisions made by the jury will be final.

ARTICLE 7

7.1. The following prizes will be awarded:
for Best Short Film;

7.2. In the case of generating different categories, the Best Short Film in its category will also be awarded.

The categories, if any, would be:

- Documentary film
- Fiction
- Video clip
- Animation

7.3. The Jury may award up to 2 (two) Special Mentions, indicating the motivation that makes those who obtain them worthy of those mentions.

7.4. The prize cannot be vacant.

7.5. All films included will receive a Certificate of Participation. Those who are winners, in addition to said certificate, will receive a statuette and a diploma of recognition.

In addition, for the winner, there will be an economic prize that will be detailed closer to the date of the festival.

ARTICLE 9

Once the confirmation email has been sent, the film cannot be withdrawn from the FAP, so the final programming will be carried out.

9.1. The producers and distributors of those films that make up the Competitions undertake to
include the phrase "Official Selection of the Pila Audiovisual Festival" in all its publicity and press material, using the Festival's logo.

9.2. The producers and distributors of those films that win awards undertake to highlight them in all their advertising and press material, using the Festival logo.

9.3. This logo can be requested from festivalaudiovisualpila@gmail.com

9.4. Any prize awarded that is not received at the Closing Ceremony may be withdrawn at the Festival offices, (or where and as indicated depending on the circumstances), up to six months after the end of the event.

ARTICLE 10
The audiovisual creators accept that the FAP has the material for their projection, publicity and promotion of the festival.

ARTICLE 11

The material sent to the FAP for the purpose of applying for its selection, will remain in the possession of its organization and will form part of the Festival's video library.

ARTICLE 12°

The Festival will take place in person. According to the evolution of the health situation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, suspensions, postponements, changes in the screening locations may be decided, as well as a greater or lesser incidence of the online modality (which may be total, if necessary). . These circumstances will be communicated to the interested parties in advance. The presentation of a film to participate in the Pila Audiovisual Festival implies the acceptance of these Regulations by the interested parties.
