Word from the president,

A 2nd year for our Junior Cinema Fest!
Last year was canceled due to lack of resources
This year is the good one

We have put together a weekend of short films and documentaries at the start of the year for your children.

The Ciné Junior production invites you to come with your family to share good times around short films. We are waiting for you there with joy and good humor to live a first and great unforgettable experience in your company.

1. The organization

The Junior Cinema Production coordinates the organization of the “Festi’Ciné” which will take place on March 7, 8, 9, 2025 in the Sarthe department at the Salle du p’tit Nogent in Nogent-le-Bernard.

The Festi’ Junior takes place over three days.

* Short films of less than 5 minutes (national selection, self-production).

* Short fiction films, animations of 5 to 30 minutes (national selection, self-production).

2. Festival conditions

The Festi’ Junior is open to national and self-produced short films in 16:9 and 4:3.

It is aimed in particular at young people aged 6 to 14.

Videos and films containing scenes of drugs, sex, violence will not be allowed during our weekend.
Primary and middle school class projects are welcome.

3. Film categories

Ciné Tout Court: Can participate in this category:
Fictions, clips, animations of less than 5 minutes.

Ciné Short films: Can participate in this category: Fictions, clips, animations from 5 to 30 minutes.

Documentary Cinema: Can participate in this category:
Reports, documentaries suitable for young people aged 6 to 14 from 5 to 30 minutes.

4. Selection

The selection will be announced in early March 2025.

The films that have caught the attention of our selection team may be screened in theaters as part of our Weekend.

No theme is imposed on participants, their imagination is given free rein.

The films must belong to the directors and to them alone, therefore benefiting from all the rights to them.

Presence of at least one person from the film during the broadcast during our “Festi’ Junior” weekend.


5. The directors and their teams

Short film directors and their teams are welcome.

We offer accommodation nearby including meals, nights, and transport from the station to the Festi’ Junior venue:

Adult: €90 per person Child up to 18 years old: €60 per child

Working versions of the film are not accepted.

7. Authorization

The film representative authorizes the organizers to use photos from the film for the promotion of the weekend and for the publication of advertising material as well as to broadcast the film as part of the Festi’ Junior.

Participants accept by signing that the selected films are listed on the festival website.

I authorize my short films to be broadcast within the strict framework of the Festi’ junior and our internal activities within the association.

8. Rewards

prizes will be awarded to the winners of the various prize lists.

9. Juries

The associative jury made up of three people and five young people will be responsible for establishing the winners of the 3 categories of short films.

The possible presence of a member of the jury in the credits of a film, in any capacity whatsoever, will prevent him from participating in the deliberations concerning this film.
