A colorful festival for children. from animation to fiction. A weekend of cinema.

Workshops will be offered:
Create a zoetrope
Play a character
Photo booth workshop
Discovery of a film set

A selection of very short short films of less than 5 minutes will be rated by 5 primary school children, during the festival supervised by a referent adult.

A selection of short films from 5 to 30 minutes will have a jury of 5 college students supervised by a college professor.

The films will be selected by the children of the association's workshops supervised by a referent adult during the cinema workshops on Monday or Wednesday and the Theater workshop on Friday.

Two short film directors will be present throughout the day.

1. Organization

Production Ciné Junior coordinates the organization of the “Festi’Ciné Junior” which will take place on November 4 and 5, 2023 in the Sarthe department in Bonnetable.

The Festi’ Junior takes place over two days.


2. Festival Terms

The Festi’ Ciné Junior is open to short films and films

It is intended in particular for young people from 6 to 14 years old.

Videos and films containing scenes of drugs, sex, violence will not be allowed in our weekend.

Elementary and middle school class projects are welcome.


3. Selection

The selection will be announced on October 15, 2023.

The films that have caught the attention of our selection team may be screened in theaters as part of our Weekend.

No theme is imposed on the participants, they are given free rein to their imagination.

The films must belong to the directors and to them alone, thus benefiting from all the rights over them.

Presence of at least one person from the film during the broadcast during our “Festi’Ciné Junior” weekend.


4. The directors and their teams

Short film directors and their teams are welcome.

We offer nearby accommodation including meals, overnight stay, and transport from the station to the Festi’ Ciné Junior venue:

Adult: €90 per person Child up to 18 years old: €60 per child

5. Registration deadline

The date is set for Thursday, August 31, 2023.


6. Authorization

The representative of the film authorizes the organizers to use photos of the film for the promotion of the weekend and for the publication of advertising material as well as to broadcast the film within the framework of the Festi' Ciné Junior.

Participants accept by signing that the selected films be listed on the festival website.
