Welcome to the Limouzi Film Fest !
The Limouzi Film Fest is opening its call for films for its first edition and invites filmmakers to join a unique cinematic adventure.
Based in the heart of Limousin, in an exceptional location, the festival aims to reveal and showcase audiovisual and cinematographic productions relating to rural life in all its dimensions: social, economic, political, geographical, technical, and artistic.
Short and feature films, fiction and documentaries are welcome as long as they are set in a rural environment, outside the urban context.
Three prizes will be awarded by the jury of professionals.
Each participant is invited to submit a work that explores this imposed theme of rural life, in all its richness and complexity. Participating in the official selection of the Limouzi Film Fest means offering your film a unique showcase and engaging with an attentive, curious, and passionate audience.
The selected authors and teams will be invited to present their creations, interact with the audience, professionals and help make the Limouzi Film Fest a new must-see event for those who have a unique perspective on the rural world.
Cash Prizes: 750€

Article 1
The Limouzi Film Fest aims to reveal and showcase audiovisual productions relating to
RURALITY in all its aspects: social, economic, political, geographical, technical, artistic, etc.
The international film festival, hereinafter referred to as “Limouzi Film Fest,” organized by the production company Tout Va Bien Production, will take place on Saturday, October 10th and
Sunday, October 11th, 2026, in an exceptional location in the Haute-Vienne department, and
will be followed by traveling screenings until Sunday, December 21st, 2026, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
This series of events defines what is hereinafter referred to as “the Festival.”
Article 2
The Festival Selection Committee independently selects and invites the films to be
presented in the Official Selection.
Article 3
The Festival's Official Film Selection is open to everyone aged 16 and over, whether
amateur or professional.
For any minor to participate in the competition, the organizers require prior consent from the
person representing the minor's parental authority.
Article 4
Only films that meet the following criteria may be selected and invited to the Official
Selection:
Each participant is invited to present an audiovisual production on the theme of RURALITY.
The film addresses the theme of rurality as long as it sets the action in a rural setting,
outside the city.
The following formats are accepted: short films (maximum 15 minutes), medium-length films
(between 15 and 55 minutes), and feature films (over 55 minutes).
The following film genres are accepted: fiction, documentary, and animation.
The image orientation must be horizontal (wider than tall), with a minimum resolution of
1080p FullHD for projection on a cinema screen.
Videos must be "general audience" (general audience).
Any rights holder, producer, or agent submitting a feature film undertakes to comply with this
clause.
Article 5
5.1 Rights holders who submit a film for selection guarantee that they hold the rights
allowing its distribution within the framework of the Limouzi Film Fest. Once selected, no film
may be withdrawn from the program by the rights holder, except by decision of the French
courts.
The Festival shall not be held liable in the event of a claim by a third party. In the event of a claim by a third party concerning the distribution of a selected film, the Limouzi Film Fest, which cannot be the judge of its legitimacy, may not withdraw the film in the absence of a court decision enforceable in France. In the event of a dispute over distribution rights relating to Upon receipt of a selected film, the rights holders of the selected film undertake to provide, without delay, upon first request from the Limouzi Film Fest, the documents proving their ownership of the disputed rights and the response they have provided to the third party submitting the complaint.
5.2 The rights holders guarantee that the film they submit for selection was produced with
respect for the integrity and dignity of all contributors to the film, and in compliance with legal obligations regarding health and safety.
5.3 In the event of non-compliance with the above obligations or in the event of an
exceptional event, the Limouzi Film Fest reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw a film from its program.
Article 6
The Festival accepts films from all over the world.
All films must be presented in their original version with French subtitles. The original version is considered to be any language in which the film is or will be broadcast in its country of origin.
The Festival Selection Committee will assess the extent to which a version that does not
meet the requirements of the original language is considered to be a valid version. However,
if this definition does not exactly match, it could still be retained.
Subtitling costs are the responsibility of the producer. Furthermore, all films with dialogue in a language other than english or French will be presented with electronic subtitles in
english, and the screening will be handled by the Festival's service provider.
Article 7
FILM IN COMPETITION
Three Festival prizes are awarded, all formats combined:

Waow Award (Jury's Favorite)
Each prize will be awarded €250.
A single film may only receive one of the awards.
The beneficiary is responsible for sending a bank account number to the production
company Tout Va Bien Production.
Article 8
Registration for the official selection is completed online, on platforms such as Festhpome.com.
Registration fees for the Festival's official selection vary depending on the registration date:
For short and medium-length films:
Winter, from November 5, 2025 to February 15, 2026: € 5
Spring, from February 16 to April 19, 2026: €10
For feature films:
Winter, from November 5, 2025 to February 15, 2026: €10
Spring, from February 16 to April 19, 2026: €20
The deadline for registration and submission of film viewing links is April 19, 2026, at 11:59
PM.
Article 9
Rights holders will be informed of the selection committee's decisions by email starting April
27, 2026.
Rights holders of selected films must then submit their film's communication materials
electronically (summary, poster, and photos) within one week, by May 4, 2026. A royalty-free
excerpt must be provided for possible inclusion in the montages that the Limouzi Film Fest
offers to the public for Festival communication.
Article 10
For each selected film, the rights holders who submitted the film will be responsible for
providing a copy of the film in DCP format by mail and a video file with audio (MOV or MP4)
via internet transfer before May 31, 2026. DVDs or streaming links are not accepted.
After the announcement of the official selection, no film withdrawals will be accepted.
If the films' DCPs are not received by the deadline, they will not be screened. This deadline is mandatory.
Article 11
Participants assign to the production company Tout Va Bien Production, without compensation, the rights to distribute their film within the Festival.
Article 12
During the Festival, the presence of directors and crew members is welcome at the
screening of the film on the weekend of October 10, 2026, as the Limouzi Film Fest is
intended to be a forum for meeting and discussion.
Article 13
Freight forwarding fees (both import and re-export) as well as screening and translation
costs for films presented to the members of the selection committee, with a view to their
possible selection, are entirely the responsibility of the producers or authorized
organizations.
Transportation and insurance costs for copies and/or DCPs, both outbound and return, are
the responsibility of their owner.
The Limouzi Film Fest will cover the costs of storing and insuring the DCPs of the selected
films, within and between the official Limouzi
Film Fest venues.
In the event of loss or damage to a copy, the Limouzi Film Fest may only be held liable up to
the value indicated by the producer on the technical sheet.
Article 14
All films selected for the Official Selection undertake to display the Limouzi Film Fest "Official Selection" logo on all advertising materials—and especially the official film poster—as well as, where applicable, the awarding of a prize to one or other of the winners.
Article 15
The Festival organizers reserve the right to cancel the Festival in the event of a major
problem.
Article 16
The production company Tout Va Bien Production has the authority to resolve all cases not
covered by these regulations.
Article 17
Participation in the Limouzi Film Fest implies acceptance of these rules and prior compliance
with the pre-selection conditions.
In the event of a disagreement regarding the interpretation of these rules, the French text will prevail.
Any dispute regarding their application and interpretation will be submitted to the competentcourts of Bordeaux.
These rules apply to the entire Official Selection.
