The new competition announcement has been published

Renaissance is the leitmotif

The call for proposals for the thirteenth edition of the ArTelesia Social Film Festival, an international competition of Social Cinema for emerging and professional directors, schools and universities, is ready.

The event is promoted by the Libero Teatro Cultural Association, with the patronage and support of various Ministries, Universities and public and private entities.

The theme of the thirteenth edition is "Renaissance". There are three competition calls: National and international previews; Filmmaker and DivAbili; School and University. These are the themes: I BELONG TO MYSELF - respect for one's individuality, knowing how to be beyond all appearances, cultivating one's freedom against all dependence; INTEGRATION - respect for ethnic and cultural identity against all forms of discrimination: beyond cultural stereotypes; WELLNESS, FOOD AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT; CARE, WELCOME AND SOLIDARITY; It is important to underline that in the DivAbili section, an exclusive competition of the ArTelesia Social Film Festival, it is possible to register works made by directors with disabilities or those that have involved disabled actors who do not necessarily have to focus on the theme of disability. This is in view of a real inclusion of people with disabilities in the world of cinema and entertainment. Two special prizes are also established: Italian Fiction of the Year and Series of the Year. Themes of the School and University section: I CARE - ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY; INTEGRATION; CINELIBRIAMOCI: works inspired by works of Italian and world fiction. Particular attention will be paid to the works created by students with mobile devices - smartphones, tablets, action cameras, drones.

In any case, the free theme is provided for all categories. The deadline for submitting works is April 15, 2021 for the Filmmaker and DivAbili and School and University sections, and May 15, 2021 for national and international previews.
