Ricreazione Soc.Coop.Soc.ONLUS in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Mentana, organizes the seventh edition of the historical audiovisual Festival "STORY IN SHORT".
The idea was born because our territory is rich in testimonies, from the pre-Roman era up to the Risorgimento: the enhancement of this heritage therefore also passes through a film festival that collects the works of authors who have ventured into an area that is not very 'frequented' such as reconstruction and historical analysis through short films, documentaries and audio-documentaries.
There are no content limits set for participation in the festival: all of History will be the subject of the works presented.
The jury will reserve the right to select the works to be screened in the event that the number of works presented exceeds the times and possibilities of programming.
All the selected works will be presented and the author will be able to tell his work to the audience in the room.
The following prizes will be awarded to the most deserving works:
– prize of the technical jury (money prize)
– prize of the popular jury
– student jury prize
Art.1- The Festival aims to make the public aware of the themes of historical research through audiovisual works of a maximum duration of 30 minutes. Subtitles in Italian are mandatory for all works entered, including those made in Italian.

Art.3- Each author can present only one unpublished or published work, created from 2000 onwards.

The contents of the works presented in the review must be in order with regard to the fulfillment of SIAE rights and in compliance with the current copyright legislation.
The author who presents the work guarantees, by simply signing the application form, the possession of all rights relating to the work itself, including the rights to exploit the images, trademarks and names contained, as well as the songs music played. If these rights are held by third parties, the author guarantees that he has been explicitly authorized by the holder of the rights themselves.
The author of the work raises the organizers from any type of liability deriving from damages caused to third parties or from legal claims of any kind connected, directly or indirectly, to the content of any right connected to the work.
