Filmin presents Revoluções Curtas, an online festival that aims to give visibility to new voices in Portuguese cinema. At Filmin we believe in a free cinema, away from the noise in which we live. Everything more, everything plus, everything a lot. And it is from this feeling that this festival is born, with which we want to give a voice to young people who can't find their place. We think of cinema as a tool for social change, which is why we encourage young Portuguese talents to express themselves through their films. Because cinema is a form of revolution.

Premios en Metálico: 1,000€

Two prizes will be awarded. The Jury Prize, which will be awarded by a jury made up of filmmakers and professionals from the Portuguese film industry. The winner will receive a cash prize of 1,000 € and the Audience Award, which will reward the short film with the best score from Filmin users, with 750 €.

All the winners will also have the opportunity to be part of the program for the next edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest, a hybrid film festival taking place in Mallorca, Spain.

The event encourages filmmakers under the age of 25 to submit their short films, which will be available for viewing on the platform during the month of December.

Filmmakers can submit their films between October 1 and November 11 via the Festhome platform.

In this competition, national short films (or mostly Portuguese co-productions) can be submitted in which the participant's age is up to 25 (inclusive) and the short film is up to 30 minutes long (including end credits).
