Revoluções Curtas returns to Filmin for a second edition, where there is no age limit to participate. Following the success of the first edition, the online short film festival will once again give visibility to the voices of Portuguese cinema.

But this time, any filmmaker born or based in Portugal can submit their short film, with the aim of broadening our scope and exploring the Portuguese film scene in depth, regardless of age or experience.

At Filmin, we believe in a free cinema, far from the noise in which we live. And therefore, we think that the best way to demonstrate this is by opening the call to everyone who wants to share their story with us. Cinema as a tool for social change, for resistance and as a way to better understand the world in which we live.

Prix ​​en espèces: 1,000€

Two prizes will be awarded:

- The Jury Prize, which will be awarded by a jury made up of filmmakers and professionals from the Portuguese film industry. The winner will receive a cash prize of 1,000 €.

- The Audience Award, which will reward the short film with the best score from Filmin users, with 750 €.

All the winners will also have the opportunity to be part of the program for the next edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest, a hybrid film festival taking place in Mallorca, Spain.

The event encourages Portuguese filmmakers to submit their short films, which will be available for viewing on the platform between September 18 to October 18, 2025. Filmmakers can submit their films between June 9 and August 10 via the Festhome platform. In this competition, national short films (or mostly Portuguese co-productions) can be submitted if the short film is up to 30 minutes long (including end credits).
