Cinemadiaspora is an international short film festival that celebrates the power of cinema to tell stories of migration, diaspora, and social impact. We aim to highlight human experiences that transcend borders, showcasing how migration shapes cultures, economies, and identities. The festival brings together filmmakers from around the world, fostering dialogue, inclusion, and diversity through the art of film.

Participants will receive an official laurel, digital certificate, and international promotion through the festival’s cultural partners network.

Short films in fiction, documentary, animation, or experimental formats are accepted.

Maximum length: 20 minutes.

Films must address themes related to migration, diaspora, cultural identity, or social impact.

Eligible works must have been produced in 2015 or later.

Submissions must include subtitles in Spanish or English.

Each participant may submit up to 2 works.

Participation is free.

By submitting, filmmakers authorize the festival to screen their work at official events and related cultural activities.
