CBFF – Vigo International Film Festival is an international film event organized by the production and distribution company CityBlue Films. It will hold its 8th edition from December 1st to 7th, 2025, in the city of Vigo, Spain.
OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSE
It is a cultural and social event and a meeting place for the public, creators, film professionals, and representatives of the film industry.
CBFF – Vigo International Film Festival was created with the main objective of promoting culture through the promotion and dissemination of cinematographic works.
This festival was developed to support directors and producers by providing all filmmakers with a space to disseminate and promote their work to the general public.
It is an audiovisual, cultural, artistic, industrial, and educational platform, allowing the discovery of new talents and emerging films.
Cash Prizes: 2,200€
AWARDS
All films selected in the official sections will receive a Certificate.
There will be 7 Awards, and Special Mentions if the Jury deems it appropriate.
1. Jury's Award: Best Short Film, International Distribution for 1 year by CityBlue Films, valued at 1.600€ and CityBlue Trophy (All selected Short Films compete for this award).
2. Jury Award: Best International Feature Film, CityBlue Trophy.
3. Jury's Prize: Best Social Thematic Feature Film or Short Film, CityBlue Trophy (based on the values of coexistence, tolerance, solidarity, respect, diversity and social cohesion).
4. Audience Award: Best Short Film Galicia, CityBlue Trophy.
5. Audience Award: Best Student Short Film, CityBlue Award (Audiovisual Marketing and Short Film Distribution Consultancy) Prizes valued at 300€ and CityBlue Trophy.
6. Audience Award: Best Galician Student Short Film, CityBlue Award (Consultancy in Audiovisual Marketing and Short Film Distribution) Prizes valued at 300€ and CityBlue Trophy.
7. Audience Award: Best Children's Short Film, CityBlue Trophy.
8. Special Mentions, Certificate.
