Focused since more than three decades ago on the discovery of new talents and the diversity of contemporary cinema, Granada Film Fest has a special interest in upcoming filmmakers of all nationalities, open to short films and medium-length films decided to explore new audiovisual forms regardless of their definition or genre.

AGUAESPEJO COMPETITION

- Agua Granada Award, endowed with €1000

VIBRACIONES COMPETITION

- Fundación SGAE Award to the best director, endowed with €600

- Fundación SGAE Award to the best screenwriter, endowed with €600

- Fundación SGAE Award to the best composer, endowed with €600

Enrollment in the 32th edition of Festival Jóvenes Realizadores - Granada Film Fest implies acceptance of the terms and conditions presented here. The organization of the Festival reserves the right to modify them. Check it out at www.filmfest-granada.com

The official selection of the festival is divided by three main competitions: International Competition, Aguaespejo Competition and Vibraciones Competition.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Open to medium-length films and short films unreleased or completed after January 2025, without limits of genre or nationality. 60 minutes max.

AGUAESPEJO COMPETITION

Promoted by Fundación AguaGranada, the Aguaespejo Competition approach the relations between moving images and our environment. Water as a source of artistic expression and a medium for experimentation with audiovisual language.

Maximum 40 minutes, unreleased or completed after January 2025.

VIBRACIONES COMPETITION

Promoted by Fundación SGAE, the Vibraciones Competition is open exclusively to andalusian short films and medium-length films, 60 minutes long max.

After accepting the invitation to participate in the festival, films cannot be withdrawn from the program. Jury’s decision is final.

The organization of the Festival will provide Diputación de Granada with a copy of all the films selected in the International Competition. These films will be provided in the same format in which they have been sent and will become part of the audiovisual database of Diputación de Granada.

The organization of the Festival will provide a copy of the awarded film of the AguaGranada Award to the funds of Fundación AguaGranada.

The Festival organization may use images or clips of the selected films for promotional use and public exhibition during the celebration of the festival.

Pantalla Film in Granada nace con el objetivo de generar un espacio de visibilidad para el cortometraje granadino y rodado en la provincia de Granada. Se trata de una sección informativa y fuera de concurso promovida por Film in Granada, la oficina de cine de la Diputación de Granada, que tiene como misión promocionar la provincia como escenario de producciones audiovisuales y consolidar el sector audiovisual granadino.

Está abierta a la participación de obras realizadas con posterioridad a enero de 2024 y que cumplan alguna de las siguientes condiciones:

- Dirigidas o producidas por ciudadanos nacidos y/o residentes en la provincia de Granada
- Rodadas mayoritariamente en municipios de la provincia de Granada
- Ficción o documental
- Duración máxima: 30 minutos

La inscripción en esta sección se realizará únicamente a través de la plataforma Festhome y la inscripción es gratuita.

Pueden presentarse tanto obras de profesionales como aquellas realizadas por el alumnado de los centros públicos y las escuelas privadas granadinas de formación audiovisual (Ciclos Formativos Imagen y Sonido, Grado Universitario en Comunicación Audiovisual, Másteres oficiales y privados). Todas las obras que se inscriban y no cumplan las condiciones para participar serán automáticamente descalificadas del festival.

La sección Pantalla Film in Granada está programada por el equipo técnico de Film in Granada y de la Delegación de Cultura y Educación de la Diputación de Granada. Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
